So I wrote up a wish list for my hubby. I think it's pretty small watched some YouTube vids on how to rebuild my evod heads and it looks pretty simple. I'm a cheapskate so I don't want to buy replacement coils all the time. What do ya'll think? I'll upload pic below

That's very conservative for a 'wish' list.

Looks decent though, I'd go for a protank II and cotton though, glass and better wicking = better vape.

Looks fine. What about e-liquid, though???

EVOD heads aren't that difficult to re-coil, but they are tiny! Don't get discouraged if it takes a couple tries to get the hang of it.

Very simple to rebuild coils. Just be careful, if you're like me the next step is an rda, then something like a kayfun. I'd also recommend a battery that will check the resistance of the coils you build if you're already buying a new battery. Cheapest route is a itaste vv/vw 3.0. It's 800 mah so it should last a little longer than the 650 on your list, plus you can take the ohm meter off the list.

I like it, although I prefer the Davide tank over anything (even Protank) and uses same coils as it. All around great piece.

Thanks all! I may upgrade to Protank I I I believe they are identical to rebuild coils as the evod? Does the I taste have the same threading as my kanger evod? Sorry I'm still a noob

I use the iTaste vv myself, definitely worth getting! It does, it has the 510 + Ego threading on it.

Yeah, the iTaste VV has ego threads and a 510 connection. I'm pretty sure that the mini protank 2 is the same size as an evod, while the regular protank 2 is a little wider. The mini uses the ego threads, and the regular uses the 510, but comes with a custom beauty ring

If you're considering the iTaste VV, you should also check out the iTaste MVP. It's a bigger box-mod style but lasts forever and has the same VV/VW features as the VV, and is about the same price or cheaper.

(Wouldn't you know -feature-creep already starting up!)

But what you have picked out is fine, so go for it!

Honestly if you want to go with the PT3, My advice would be to grab the Aerotank! It's a PT3 with Air Flow Control. And rebuilding those coils with cotton are just like vaping euphoria to me. If you were going to rebuild them with silica i'd say go with cotton instead, better flavor honestly.

PT, PT2 and EVOD are interchangeable but the chimney is longer on the protank.

You can get an adapter to use Aspire heads on the protank, but those are not re-build friendly.

Myself I am thinking about getting rid of all my protank stuff as I got an AGR+ and it does everything I used protanks for but better flavor more vapor production (yes even with Aspire heads) no leaking or gurgling, it is SS instead of plated brass and new cartos are about a buck and being old tech I can find them everywhere. As far as rebuilding goes, I got drippers, gennys and bottom coil rebuildables to tinker with, but I grab the tank when I leave the house....

The itaste vv is a great little ego sized MVP essentially. If I were going for one, I'd get the MVP, $10 more, and way bigger battery.

I was like that for a while. Once I found my niche I kinda slowed down. Love a good upgrade though. Saving up for the origin mod and the aqua RBA

I have a kanger evod (not vv) and I love the vapor production but I really want something vv. I'm also ordering a vv battery for it but I need a back up for my backup
