Withdrawal insomnia driving me crazy!

I started on 18mg juice back in October 2014. I am now down to 12 mg and will slowly continue dropping the nic level. Haven't smoked a cig since October. Smoked a pack of full strength reds every 2 days for decades. As far as sleep, you might want to try a supplement called melatonin. Works well for me and it is natural. You should be able to find it in any drug store or supermarket.

I could not sleep after quitting smoking after 42 years so I am on 25mg sleeping pills. Sleep like a baby now. I always was a light sleeper even when smoking. Health is a lot better and feel better now so if I have to take one a night for the rest of my life so be it. It is the only pill or medication I take. CHEERS!

Was hopeful the doctor would be of the same opinion when I went Monday, but no dice - he basically told me to tough it out, so no sleeping pills for me.

Try some Zzzzquil by the people that make Nyquil. I've heard that helps people sleep and isn't habit forming. It may help you get through this period until your sleep returns to normal. I say that I've only heard it helps, I've never tried it myself, but I take Trazodone and Nortriptyline to help me sleep and Zzzzquil isn't going to come close to that. Stupid PTSD.
