Man, you were deprived, lol! Pepsi, so gross! :(

Yeah, Coke is allowed in schools (well at least in the school I used to go to. My little brothers bring 2 cans of Coke to school every one and a while), just like any other beverage you bring in from home. But they don't sell it in vending machines. The only thing in the vending machines before I graduated (in 2009) were those stupid healthy chips, some healthy nut & berry bars and those disgustingly healthy drinks which tasted worse than the color they were.

Well, lets face the facts here, Darkstorm. vaping is relatively new, it's only seen wide-spread use over the last two years-ish. It's effects haven't been studied intensely. Yes, you could say that the military uses PG for smoke-bombs and it's been tested up to a certain PPM, but this is a bit different still.

While we're only talking about the difference between Tomato juice and Tomato Sauce...there is still a difference. Who's to say that there isn't something bad in certain flavors?

Normally, I wouldn't argue any of this, but I feel that vaping should be looked at similar to how they taught when I was in school about cigarettes...it's a gateway. Is there a good chance that someone that vapes will pick up smoking or other-things? Probably not, but the possibility is still there.

Also....you'd be encouraging a hand-to-mouth addiction, if you want to look at it that way. Which is to say, the anti-smoking community looks at vapers the same as smokers. Do you want your kids to be going through that? Imagine when your teenager comes home from school and tells you that their ProVari got confiscated by the teacher, and will not be able to get it back, plus they're suspended.

Fun!

Edit: Did I say suspended? Try expelled. My bad. I just remembered a story from my high school from a couple years after I left it. Kid worked in a grocery store, and he was going to work right after school. He left his safety-blade-box-cutter (The things are so safe that they don't even cut boxes, honestly) in the cup-holder, front seat, in his car. Teachers did a car-check and expelled him for bringing a deadly weapon to school.

Do you think that a zero-tolerance policy will care if it's smoke or vapor? I don't.

All good points. If my teen daughter does start vaping I would certainly not allow her to take her PV to school, that is just asking for trouble. I guess I just wanted to state that I would be no more opposed to her vaping 0 nic than I would be opposed to her starting a coffee habit. Either would bother me slightly as both are potentially addictive but ultimately pretty harmless. I do not understand the prevalent aversion to having non smokers try/enjoy some of the great non nic flavors available. These things are miracle workers for smoking cessation but they are also pleasant in their own right.

Some people can't sense whats real when their weak brain is in the way. I am a painting contractor, and when I was waiting for the guy to mix my paint, I said "Do you mind if I vape?" as I vaped in front of him. He asked me some questions, and said that another guy that works there needs to get one of those.
So he took me to the sales counter and said to the other guy that smokes, "Hay check this out!". Then I let out a big puff of vapor, and the vapor started moving towards this butch/tattooed lady's face that works there to, so I waved my hand to dissipate the vapor. Then she said "what is that?", so I told her what it was, and she said "Wow, that smells just like a real cigarette!". I was vaporizing "Waffles", so I told her that the flavor is Waffles, not tobacco. She said "Thats cool, but it SMELLS JUST LIKE REAL CIGARETTES!"
So her brain saw the vapor and told her subconscious: "it looks like smoke----it smells like smoke", So she smelled smoke. I tried to explain it doesn't smell like smoke to no avail, so I gave up.

The other guy said he was going to try to quit next month, and if he couldn't, he would switch to vapor.

Realistically, as long as you're aware of the potential dangers, I say do as you will. The most annoying person I know is an anti-smoker-nazi...she's a teacher, and my cousin. Every family get together, she would try to make new rules about where we can smoke. Last year she tried to force us outside to smoke...at my Grandma's house...in the -30F weather. But I know that she's driven by ignorance and propaganda. She listens to all of the BS that elementary school teachers gossip about, and takes it as fact. Eh.

I know a couple people like that. I'm not really sure how Pepperment can smell offensive, but there's a girl at work that gets all mad when I'm leaving clouds behind. Speaking of peppermint...I'm gonna have to get some extract...running out of Peppermint liquid O.O
