I've watched a few video reviews, the only down side seems to be the finish easily scratches...which is bad for me, as if I bought one it would be my daily driver.

And the 21mm diameter. That I could live with.. I probably wouldn't like it, but I could live with it.

Otherwise it's everything I would expect from a artist such as Mark bugs. ;)

Any previous owners care to chime in the finish/coating? Assuming it's the same as before. PBUSARDO showed his wizard, which I actually saw and held when I met him, and it looks like it's got some miles on it for sure.

I've got a WAE (18500). I couldn't bring myself to wrap it. If I look closely at its surface, the scratches are not discolored it's almost like the flat brushed finish is smooth where it has been contacted. Its only visible at an angle and not very bothersome to me. I take good care of it but I do use it quite a bit. The mod, buttons and DNA20 are still performing flawlessly. I like it so much that I'm actually considering trying to get another. I've never been a fan of the 21mm diameter so I'm really keeping my eye out for a new topper by MB.

I really want one. Have wanted a wizard for a while... this will be my first opportunity to buy one, I could never afford the titanium version... and the wae2 is stretching my budget to the limit, but I'm trying to cover all the bases, and I'm not sure I'd be able to buy the 21mm hybrid mod when it becomes available... I'm a little more of a budget vaper (champagne taste, beer budget - ya know)

IF I am lucky enough to get one, I doubt I'd wrap it.... that would cheapen it to me. The problem I have is, I vape a lot.... and I often keep my mods in my slacks pockets, I rest them in my cup holder in my car.... and lets face it, no matter how careful we all are with our mods - they always find a way to drop somewhere......

My current DNA20 mod is a Futura, and the cerakote has really surprised me how durable it is.... after a few months of abuse it still looks excellent, it has only 1 or 2 very minor blemishes very unnoticeable. I hate to ramble, but just desperately looking for advice before the clock strikes on Sunday. TO ME, the wizard is the ultimate awesome :) but I don't want to make a mistake I'll regret either, because selling it will devastate me.

Thanks.

I really want one.

I think cerakote on my Futura is more durable. The Futura is an excellent DNA tube mod as well. More battery size options, cerakote (blue titanium in my case), 22mm top cap. For me my WAE is not the type of mod that I handle roughly. I kind of pick and choose when I'm going to take it out. My everyday kick around is the old provari, an ego twist or some type of mech mod. I don't think that the Futura or the Provari are near as beautiful as the WAE. The Futura looks good but some how it's lines are more awkward than the WAE. It could be the slanted top cap or that it's a taller mod but it looks a bit awkward some how. The Provari is nice, but its not really a looker. That being said, throw a kayfun (with 22mm ring) on top of the Provari and it's good to go. The buttons on the WAE nicely match the tube. I will admit that I dropped my WAE once from a decent height (it rolled off a table). I thought I had killed it but it never missed a beat. Since then I'm even more careful with it. If you're thinking about an WAE2 and you can get your hands on one, I'd just about guarantee that you wouldn't regret it.

Mark,

I sent a reply above about the 18500 Setup.

I think ill speak for ALOT of vapers here that we would all like a 18500 Tube for the WAE II

Thanks!!!

The reason is very simple, there is no 18500 batt with 12+ A maximum discearge.
If you look on the data sheet of the DNA 30 this si the only safe way to protect people using the wrong batts.

It is a High Drain 3.7V
