Just took the plunge and got a WAE2 from electronic stix today. After seeing that thing hybrid I couldn't hold out.

Congrats, it's one of the best mods money can buy!

Damn, my resolve to wait for the WAEIII weakens every time Qorax posts pics of the WAEII & the ErlK! The Queen's just sitting here at the house waiting for her King...she's catching a ride on the PV Ti Mini for the time being.

If the only difference in the WAEIII is the dna40 then I'm not sorry at all that I jumped the gun on the II. I bought the 40 flask and sold it within the week. Nickel is such a pain, and with my use (almost exclusive kayfun style tanks) I'm not getting anywhere near the nasty temperatures the 40 protects against.

PM sent to Mark, as well as email through his web site....

I was using an atty with a very short and nearly recessed 510 pin, which was really having a hard time making contact with the 510 of my WAE2.... Well I ended up messing up the 510 pin on my wizard! By unscrewing it so far as to try and make connection with that recessed atty pin, when I tried to screw the WAE2 510 back down and it wouldnt budge... so then I unscrewed it a little to get it moving, well the center brass screw part came out of its brass bushing that fits inside the top cap, and ALL attempts to get it to go back in would not work.......... The threads on either the pin itself or the little brass threaded bushing have gotten all messed up now... As a make shift solution to continue using my WAE2 I ended up just kind of pushing the 510 screw (think press fit) back in to the brass bushing thing, to the point where it doesnt fall out, but doesnt screw in or out either....so now my WAE2 adjustable pin has been damaged........... I am sure its an easy fix, all I need is that whole little brass assembly which just pushes in to the top cap, its like a screw and nut kind of deal..... now just waiting for Mark to get back to me.

On a side note, that 510 adjustment should be made to be adjustable from both ends..inside and outside.... that would be a great addition IMO.
Just thought I'd give mark bugs more praise in his thread, I emailed him about my 510 brass assembly giving out on me, and a few days ago got an email stating he would gladly drop the piece I need in the post to me. I have not received it yet, but have no doubt I will. I offered to pay for the parts, to no avail.

Eventually when the parts arrive I'll be able to get my wizard back in top shape. Thank you Mark Bugs!

Still waiting on the dang WAE. Pretty sad that I can buy something for 20 bucks off ebay a day after I ordered my WAE today, but the $325 dollar item with priority shipping can't seem to find it's way here!

lol try waiting like 2 weeks with your wizard in custom and then get ..... slap with a custom fee of 150usd :D yeap that happened to me ! thats why i told mark that i prefer the old way of regular mail, faster and no cost (at least for me :) )

Yea I have heard some horror stories about customs invoices, but 150?!? Ouch! I swear, if I order juice or some random thing it gets here on time, but every time I order something that I'm stoked about it ALWAYS gets hung up. Wizard says it left Utah 3 days ago and still says its scheduled for delivery yesterday.

But isn't it with UPS? UPS is pretty fast with our packages ~ I get mines within 3 days from shipping.

True, $150 really? That's one helluva lot! The max I got slapped with is $67.
