I put a clear J-Wrap on mine ... that seems to work great.

I'd love to see a picture of your wrapped wizard.... Im considering getting the clear wrap, the finish on mine is scuffing more daily. And I'm babying the crap out of it............

I was given a warning by the above mod (credited in the edit tag) for unintentionally evading the forums vulgar language filters, which was not my intent. I merely used the characters and symbols as a way of NOT offending anyone, and in the process offended a moderator

I am truly sorry to any and all whom I may have unintentionally offended with my crass wording.

@BluSwatch, or anyone else who might have a clear wrapped wae2: I would be curious to see pictures of a clear wrapped wizards apprentice evolved 2 before making the purchase of said clear wrap for my own personal WAE2. Thank you and good day.

Yeah just like that. I want a clear one depending how it looks. I'm being a little over protective of my wizard...

On the subject of durability, nothing beats cerakote....that stuff is amazing. My Futura which is cerakoted, looks exactly the same as brand new. I've seen people cerakote atty's too.

After having my wae2 for a short time, I know the finish is as delicate as I feared. The fire button would be much more comfortable if it were on top, above the wattage adjustment instead of inverse like it is..... I think I understand why he has the board mounted the way it is resulting in this button config, but the whole unit would balance in the hand so much better if the button wasnt so close to the center of the mod.

Those are my only small gripes.

I think just the opposite. I feel the button is placed perfectly. My thumb or the index finger (whichever way I'm firing) sits exactly there where the fire-button is. It's bloody comfortable as it is. But that might be b'coz of my hand size, which is average built. For a person with larger hands it could be an issue. But the modder has to draw a line somewhere, doesn't he?

the fire button being lower means that your hand will not have to be on the up/down buttons to fire, if the fire button was higher, then you'd always have you hand over those buttons to fire so more accidental up/down presses I think, being the lowest button makes it easier to not press anything but the fire button

I have big hands so i understand the fire button issue, i too would have prefer to have it that way like you say but for most people it works better the way they had it done.

About the finish mine have been rock solid, only problem was that big drop but that was BIG ! :) I've been used mothers polish on it and the matter finish is the same.

Thats the reason I understand the button config.... if the button was higher, you might accidentally press the wattage buttons. My futura has a flush mounted rocker for wattage and the button is higher up, and while the wae2 is smaller and lighter, the futura fits more naturally in my hands, as does my semovar. But, I'm a big guy with bigger hands so.... ymmv.

It feels very top heavy with my kayfun on top... I'm not complaining, just voicing my opinions :D

I bought a couple of those mini tanks with the smaller rings and chimney for my kayfun and russian and feels very good but of course you get less juice.

My oddyseus don't seem to feel top heavy for me but i will love they release that new atty finally :) maybe the erkerigon feels better ?

Oh no no I'm not trying to get the scuffs out, sometimes when i polish the brass contacts and the threads i get it on the tubes so i just carry on and polish.

Whe gonna have to wait for Mark and see what will be the best way to deal with minor scuffs, thats why i love titanium because with time those minor scuffs disappear and the others you can easily fix.

I would love an Erlk, but I just cant justify a $200 atty, sorry............. I've compared clone kayfuns to my authentics and can't tell any difference in vape quality. a good kayfun clone in my opinion vapes every bit as good as a genuine (I know I'm going to catch some slack for that, but its true to me). If I put identical builds in a genuine kf and clone kf, same juice, they vape the same == which is excellent..... The guys all say the same of the Taifun GT clones vs authentics... another outstanding vape. These are sub $50 clones.

If or when the Erlk gets cheaper, I'd pick one up... but I think I saw someone say like $243 or something by the time they got the needed addons, etc.... sorry I refuse to pay that for a atty... (sorry qorax, don't think less of me)
