the problem is that i suck at mixing.. i want my juices to taste like a good thick flavorful juice but i cant get it..

My juices suck worse - threw em out with em bottles I made em in - but reading this post I think the trick is to add some sweetness to it - havent tried it yet.....a little caramel or brown sugar maybe some chocolate or cotton candy - with the tobacco - assuming u like tobacco flavors.....most of the ones i made were either straight fruit flavors (mango was not bad) or pure tobacco flavors - YUCK YUCK YUCK - but practice makes perfect or in my case hopefully better...........lol

I have found less is always more with flavoring. You can always add more, but give or take a few drops can make or break a juice. When I first started mixing I made them too strong. Those light hints of flavor I found make a great all day vape. The ones just a little too strong might taste decent at first but later if you have bad breathe or a funky flavor in your mouth you know you over did it.

still levitas... that is a good idea to see what flavor goes good with the other.. but when you mix them both you gotta be aware of what flavor will over power the other.. for example i tried to make a penut butter sugar cookie.. the PB i have is from LOR and the SC i have is from CAP... the sugar cookie i thought would be too light... so i mixed it at a higher percentage than the PB and i steeped it for 4 days.. i cant taste the PB at alllllllll.. not one little hint of PB.. its frustrating really...

but on the other hand i have some tobacco juices that i love to vape.. i just have problems with deserts...

I see your dilemma, Graf. I guess unless you mixed all flavors to a set %, you would pretty much have to wing it (educationally guess what you believe the ratio should be upon tasting them both in the atty). It's a good method to see which flavors might go well with each other, and which should avoid one another like a plague. Not flawless, but a simple and effective tool.

A good example: I do this as well, and I mixed a bottle of banana nut bread (pseudo Gorilla Juice), and I mixed another bottle of Capella's Chocolate Fudge Brownie. There were things about both of these mixes that urked me. The GJ was too buttery, and I thought this was due to the graham cracker. The brownie was WAY too powerful, I mixed it at 13%... over kill to the max.

So, I remixed a bottle of just banana nut bread (to see if the graham cracker was really the culprit in that buttery taste), and I only used 1% of the brownie. Together, it's pretty damned good. They are complimenting one another very well. It could be a tad sweeter (letting it sit before I add sweetener), but all in all, I got my answers and I know now how to mix these flavors for my personal satisfaction.

By the way, I was right. It was the graham cracker that was buttery. The banana nut bread holds a little butteryness in itself. Mixed with the graham cracker, and it's excessive for me personally.

Bah, I'm ranting....

I know everyone has their own "tastes" ... but, here's a dessert I make that I really like. You might like it, too. (I absolutely LOVE Peanut Butter flavor!) I call it Creamy Peanut Butter Delight.

9% Peanut Butter, 6% Bavarian Cream, 4% Cotton Candy, 3% Cookie, 3% Sweetener, 1% ea: Sugar Cream & Butter Cream.

After you make it, let it steep awhile ... then you can adjust it however you want. You might like it the way it is ... or you can add a couple more drops of Peanut Butter if you think it needs it. (Note: use Cap's Peanut Butter on this one). Hope this helps.

My order from WL just came in.
This is my first order from them.
I have a question and hope someone can help me out.

For instance I ordered 555 Type tob. flavor.
Then behind it it says TFA

Carmel flavor Concentrate
Then behind it it says LA

What's the difference between TFA and LA?

Also the 555 and Marlboro does not have the concentrate mentioned.
I assume it's less concentrated, I wonder how much, should I use double the amount?

Thanks!

If you check out the supplier's websites (especially TFA), a lot of them will say "This is a strong flavor, mix between 1%-5%. Other's "Some people say this flavor is weak." Stuff like that. If you check out the reviews for certain flavors, some people will add their recipes to them or their sweet spots for percentages.

One word of advice.. or 3 or 4
.....1. DON'T throw out any failures just yet. Remember some flavors require a LOOOOONG time steeping to be even decent.
.....2. Keep really good notes on your mixtures and update them whenever you add something to a sample. I assure you, wilWILL forget what you have done.
.....3. Mark all bottles really well because you will forget what's in them too.
.....4. Try some solo fruit flavors at lower percentages. Success will come easy!

I've made all these mistakes plus more. For example, I mixed a batch of TFA M-type tobacco.. Only ONE drop per 5ml. It was unbelievable awful... nasty and harsh. I put it aside in disgust! I found it a month later and tried it and it was the best tasting tobacco ever.. for ME. It was sweet and mild and tasty. I loved it! Try it, but let it rest.. Maybe not a month, like me.. but at least a week.
So.. my best advice is to go slowly and don't be discouraged.

To answer this question... Try that MType (Marlboro) at VERY low percentages (1-2%). The MType will likely taste quite a bit strange to you at first. This one really likes to steep for AT LEAST one week. Freshly mixed, I dislike it. After it's been steeping a good long while? It's awesome.

I really like the 555. A lot. I also mix this low, at 2%. Remember, it's easier to add a little more flavor than to dilute (adding everything back with the right ratios).

Thank you!

This what I did:
4 ml nicotine (80 drops), 4 ml PG (80 drops) Total 160 drops.
5% of 160 = 8 drops.

So I added 8 drops of the 555, 1 drop of hazelnut and 1 drop of the Caramel.

Now it sitting in the dark for the next 3 weeks or so.

If it's too strong I can always add a little PG and nicotine.
The nicotine is 70%pg / 30%vg.

We'll see!
