I am new to DIY and have not even received my starter kit from Nude Nicotine yet but want to purchase some additional flavors to experiment with. What 10 flavors do you find most essential. (I am not really a tobacco person and lean toward subtle bakery and floral vapes...I like peppermint but not other mints..and Alice in Vapeland is my favorite juice vendor)

What flavors did you choose from NN? Many of them are VERY 'customizable & 'tweakable...so you'll probably want to get some flavors from WZL that'll make it so you can play around with what's already on the way.

From WZL (all TFA) -

For floral, we'd go with Honeysuckle, Cherry Blossom and/or Violet Candy. All are very nice stand-a-lones at around 5-10% (easy-schmeezy), and they're very accomodating for lil' tweaks & add ons.

'Gotta have some creams for mixing most everything. French Vanilla is one of our favs because it's got a nice even creamy flavor along with a very good vanilla...and good vanillas just aren't that easy to find. Bavarian Cream is another that we consider to be an essential. Sweet Cream is pretty neutral and is good for adding a bit of 'creamy sweetness' where it's needed/wanted.

The plain Peppermint is great - but the Mint Candy might be even better for mixing (???) It's softer, and pretty-much-exactly like one of those soft-melty pastel mint "pillow squares". It blends with everything Peppermint would go with, but it's a tad richer and softer.

As far as neutral "bakery", Graham Cracker is good to have around. Cheesecake has immense potential (we give a slight edge to the Cheesecake with Graham Cracker crust over the plain - but both work nicely)

As far as specific "bakery", the Banana Nut Bread is pretty good (and can be used at low percentages).

Of course, you'll likely want a favorite fruit, berry or spice (or two) for your bakery blends. The Holiday Spice is heavy on the nutmeg, where the Pumpkin Pie spice is heavier on clove.

And we'd top it off with one of the Caramels (go to TFA official to read the different descriptions...of everything :) Perfumers Apprentice - Professional Flavors), and definitely Toasted Marshmallow.

With 'the above' (assuming you chose some bakery flavors from NN), you can have a ball customizing the ones you already have on the way - as well as creating several new ones of your own.

Happy mixing!

Some of my favs would be..

LA NY Style Cheesecake, LA Honey, LA Mango, TFA Juicy Peach, TFA Strawberry Ripe, TFA Raspberry Sweet, TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, TFA, Champagne, TFA Cola, TFA Honey Dew (floral one for sure), TFA Pear, TFA Sweet Tarts, French Vanilla and Toasted Marshmallow

Most of these can be mixed strait and yet are easy to mix with other flavors.

Great approach - ask for a little advice. I should have. No, not me, I just went to Wizard Labs site initially and picked out a few that interested me. Then, I thought of a few more I should have. Excited about all this, I ordered a few more... I'll stop here...

Today, I entered them all in a spreadsheet and find myself to be the proud owner of 65 of the $1.49 different bottles of TFA flavors.

My advice to you - Listen to the experts...

(By the way, I have successfully mixed (only) three single flavor juices to date. I'm taking my time...)

+1 Juicy Peach
Strawberry (ripe)
Peanut Butter
Boysenberry or Dragon fruit (one is more berry, the other is a tart fruity flavor)
Graham cracker (clear)
***Hypnotica*** (favorite)
Marshmallow
Vanilla cupcake (this one is sweet)
Koolada (additive that has a cooling effect but no flavor)

Ones that people rave about that I'm not that crazy about is the Doubly Ry4 (used to like it, not sure what changed) Brown Sugar (has the same note in the Double ry4 that I don't care for), Black Honey tobacco (just never saw the hype, not good or bad IMO... long steep time), Caramel Cappuccino (very very strong, has a strange skunk-like flavor to me but many people like it),

Well over 200 of those (every flavor available except bacon) plus dozens of premixed juices from various places and 4oz bottles of TFA flavors I use more frequently.

I am a vapaholic and mixaholic me thinks.

Wethinks you don't need "Smooth" - it's not technically a "flavor". It's a blend of chemicals designed to temporarily alter our taste buds/receptors to cause the juices to seem to have fewer "rough edges" and sharp notes. It works like FA's Magic Mask and Vape Wizard in that regard (I confirmed this with TFA). You can mute flavors and smooth rough edges with the EM you already have on the way.

It seems most folks feel that Raspberry Sweet (TFA) is the best raspberry...perhaps that's what you meant since I don't see a 'Ripe Raspberry' at WZL

Vanilla Swirl is very much like a cheap, soft-serve ice cream. Wethinks it's great in things like milkshakes & smoothies, but we'd never use it in a 'bakery anything' (we'd go with a heavier cream for the bakery goodies).

From Nude Nic:

Lemon Mint, Mayan Mocha, OMFG It’s Chocolate, Patchouli Vanilla, Coffee Creme, Boysenberry Jam, Very Berry, Shirley Temple

The very first, very most important thing to know about NN's flavors is that they are VG based (instead of PG based like the others). VG is much thicker, and it takes these flavors longer to 'work their way into your juice'. They will NOT (absolutely, positively not!) taste the same on Day 1, Day 3, Day 5 after mixing. It takes a full week for them to spread throughout the pg/vg/nic and come into their own.

It was very much fun (and very educational for us) to taste them every other day - the changes were AMAZING!
We have all the ones above that we've underlined. We've never been able to taste much Chocolate in the OMFG (at 2.5% and 5%, but we haven't yet bothered to up it to 7.5%) - and we've seen that reported by others. But it's got a nice taste, very creamy and reminiscent of chocolate. So perhaps you'll be able to mix it with some other goodies. The others are VERY GOOD!

Another thing about NN's flavors that we've noticed is that 'vape heat' affects them greatly. Example: we're vaping on a tank with 2.2 - 2.4 resistance, and have the battery set at 4.0). For us, 3.9-4.0 will be the sweet spot on most of NN's flavors. With the Patchouli Vanilla (YUM), if you turn up the voltage, the herb taste becomes stronger; turn down the voltage and the sweet vanilla is most prevalent. (btw, the Patchouli Vanilla IS the truest, fullest, most authentic vanilla we've ever vaped). With the Mayan Mocha, the low temps accentuate certain spices along with the cream & sweetness; the higher temps accentuate the wee bit o' coffee and other spices. (Edit: we realize this is the case with most all juices - but with the NN concoctions, changing the voltage can make the difference between liking or not liking the vape!)

Wethinks you're going to great things with the flavors you've chosen. You've got TONS of potential for fantastic vapes there!

I have a new life hero! (Just wait until payday...)

I cannot see any reason for bacon, jalapeno, pizza, Worcestershire, nor yam.

Did you order any sweetner?

I know I'm in the minority, not a fan of Juicy Peach. I really prefer the super concentrated peach from VZ. But I'm not a fan of sweet. If you like sweeter stuff, you might love it.

Yes I did order sweetener from Nude Nicotine in my original order.....Thank you for asking
