mm sounds good..

you miiight be right about that flue cured bacco being that it might have some hazelnut in it..

about flavor... i mix at 20%.. which is the highest i go.. why? i dont know.. but i have mixed stuff at 20% and it just doesnt have any flavor.. or not enough punch.. i have read that it can mean that i added too much flavor.. but you have seen my arsenal on flavors.. i dont have enough bottles or time to be testing out each and every flavor one at a time.. thats the part that sucks in my opinion... i find it annoying to mix every single flavor one by one... i have absolutely 0 patience..

I ran out of commercial tobacco flavor. So I mixed our ADV recipe and replaced it with the Flue cured tobacco flavor. It's a slightly different but just as darn good.

Mack's A.D.V.

5% Flue cured tobacco
5% Brown sugar
3% carmel
2% menthol (1/10th teaspoon crushed powdered menthol crystals)
25% 60mg/ml nic/vg solution= 15mg/ml
55% Vegetable glycerin
5% water

Poppin' in to say that I am really enjoying this Double RY4 (TFA). Really, it's one of the best I have in my arsenal, and I have only begun to experiment with it. In fact, I haven't done anything to it. I am vaping it straight, at 5%, no sweetener or anything, and it's wonderful.

Think I'm gonna mix a bottle of this with a smidgen of the chocolate fudge brownie :D

The double ry4 is really good, especially after steeping. What I noticed is though is that I can't mix it very strong or it has a musty too robust flavor. My preference seems to be between 5-10%. Good stuff!

Oh and I have a tip for anyone working with menthol crystals (comes in solid crystals). I was crushing them and then mixing it in my mixes, but I found a better and easier way.

After you are done adding all the ingredients, put the whole crystals into the bottle and close your bottle tight. Then take it to your sink and run your hot water over the bottle until they melt right into your recipe, easy and doesn't take long or much heat (30 seconds). Works even faster if you giggle the bottle under the hot water (moves juices around and heats faster).

I reccommend adding a little more menthol than you prefer, because it does evaporate and calm down when steeping.

for using menthol, I crush the crystals very fine and fill a bottle about half full. I then fill the bottle with PG ( some people use PGA). Shake it until the crystals are dissolved.
I add this liquid to my recipes. By adding the same liquid, I can be consistent from batch to batch when I can't with powder.

A 30ml bottle lasts FOREVER!! But try a 5ml or 10ml bottle, depending on the amount of crystals you have

Hehe, nah, I'm not annoyed. However, I will say that I am going to most likely have to make another bottle for any sort of steep test, as I have already nearly vaped the original dry. :D

What percent do you like your double RY4 at?

I too would like to hear more about what % your mixing at

I too would like to hear more of the %'s

Personally, I find it to be excellent at 5%, straight, with no sweetener or anything else added :vapor: However, I have only tried one combination with it, and that's with 5% RY4 and 1% Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Odd, I know.

I think Graff likes it around the 15% range, and I've read one post that said that beyond 10%, they felt it was a bit musty.

So, I'd follow the ole try it at a low % standard, and add more if needed.

The general rule for taste testing new things is 5% or less. It lets you taste all the notes it has being more diluted. Of coarse some flavors are stronger than others and only need a few drops. I agree with levi on too much ry4 taste musty.

Everyone asking about percentages, just be light on flavoring and get started. A chef can't cook until he's cooked a few dishes!

I tried my mystery juice that has been steeping for close to a month. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about I will explain lol. When I first started taste testing new juices every time I would empty my mini novas to try another juice I would pour the juice into the "Mystery bottle". It contains Ry4, commercial tobacco, brown sugar, French vanilla, carmel mainly (all recipes that would go well together).

It's very very smooth, I'm really liking it actually. All of the flavors are much smoother and rich after steeping them so long.

The part i'm most worried about is the steep time. When I get off work tonight my order will be here and i'm going to mix up a bunch of bottles to steep, but i'm still worried that i'll make a bunch and not like them, and find out weeks later I have to start all over again!

That's part of the price we pay for experimenting instead of trying a tried and true formula. Just don't include nic until you like the non-nic taste.

Don't worry so much about it, you can taste your recipe fresh to get a good idea of how it will be after steeping. If you're worried about making a bunch of bottles of a bad recipes, don't make large batches and make small one's 3/5/10ml. We will all make a bad recipe starting off, mine was using too much flavor and nic base. This is where making small batches come in handy, if it is really bad you only poured out 3/5/10ml.

I too would like to hear more of the %'s as my WL order will be here tomorrow! So frickin' excited!

% wise.

The easiest for me is to count in drops.
1 ml of juice = 20 drops.
10 ml of juice is 200 drops.

5% of 200 drops = 10 drops.

So if you start with 10 ml, you can add 10 drops.
Start easy, don't mix too many different flavors.

Maybe 2 flavors or 3 max.
Think of flavors that you think might taste good together.

Good luck, and don't forget to steep the juice.

After I made the juice I put it in a little bowl with hot water, let it cool down while sitting in the water.
Shake it and put it in a dark place.
I shake it everyday, and want to let it steep for about 3 weeks.
