Has anyone tried the English tobacco from Wizard Labs? If so what % worked for you? Thanks

Have not tried it, but percentage for super strong tobaccos is 1%. More diluted tobacco blends around 5%.

Percentage is based a lot on personal preference. I like mine on the light side 1-7%, when some others will use 20%. The best way to go is start real light on the flavoring until you can judge the strength of the said flavor. Remember it's better to add more than it is to dilute a mix that's too stong.

Yeah I definitely wanted to try tobacco absolute but I just read the description at WL website and it's real tobacco extract so I definitely don't want it now. I know people say it's safe because you're not burning it, but if that was true chewing tobacco would be safe but I will defend anyone wanting to use it. Now it makes sense why everyone says it tastes closest to real tobacco, because it is lol.

I have a bottle of this. It's pretty good, though, it's not so much a tobacco flavor as it is a fruity complimentary flavor. To me, it's like Pina Colada. So if that's not your thing, might wanna steer clear.

Edit: I tried it up to 3%. Since it's Pina Coladaish, it's pretty obvious even at lower %'s.

Yeah we can get started anytime, basically I'm thinking how it would work is we round up who wants to be in on the Flavor List (if they aren't participating then they don't get to vote).

For the roundup (anyone participating):

Levitas....?

Anyone else wants to participate just speak up.

We should also list flavors we already have.

I'd love to participate but I'm limited to the flavors I currently have.

I have been thinking about extracting my own flavors. I hear coffee is one of the easiest to do. Maybe another thread soon on that adventure. lol

Coffee is really easy.
I do mine with water and grounds -equal parts-steep 24 hrs-strain done :) add to VG to thin vg, thicken coffee extract.
I use 99.9%VG or as close as I can get with adding flavorings.
I did dyi tobacco flavor this week-turned out OK

XMACKX, John feel strongly about vaping bad stuff.... even though nicotine is still bad for you .. he doest put custards and stuff thats harmful for you on his site... i highly doubt he would in the future either.. but the reason he doesnt have them up is because of that reason right there.. because its bad to vape... you think tobacco abs. is bad for you?? why?

I'm just trying to stay away from real tobacco extracts. Unless someone knows if it's an isolated compound extraction, just flavor? Here is the description:

Description

8ml glass vial.

Concentrated Tobacco Extract diluted to a 10% solution in Ethyl Alcohol.
This is a natural tobacco extract that is extremely strong even after being diluted to a 10% solution.
This product will need to be shaken before each use to mix the tobacco absolute sediment back into solution.

Ingredients: Natural Tobacco extract, Ethyl Alcohol

I just noticed something odd, I was just looking through my flavors and smelled them... stay with me lol. Also vaping from a couple tanks, one which had the flue cured tobacco flavor, the other tobacco concentrate.

What I noticed is what they may be made from, and made me think we should make a list of the different tobaccos and what they taste like, their undertones and whatnot.

Commercial Tobacco Flavor: Smells/tastes like a nutty flavor with a hint of a rich vanilla undertone
Tobacco flavor concentrate: Smells/tastes slightly floral with a very light nutty undertone
Flue Cured tobacco flavor: Nutty flavor with a bright hazelnut smell/taste

This makes me wonder if I could order some nut flavors, like walnut ect. and make my own tobacco like flavors using the flavors of the undertones like vanilla, hazelnut. Another reason why I was thinking about making some coffee extract. Just a thought.

Flu Cured seems tooooooo flowery/perfumy - is that the gereral consensus? Made the following:

Flu 5%
Brown Sugar 3%
hazel Nut 3%
Caramel 2%
Water 10%

All VG - except flavors.

That is xMackx recipe I stole......would u agree it is flowery or do I need to let it steep - and maybe even a day or 2 topless (oooo-lol) to get rid of the alcohol?

Shouldn't be flowery, you must not like hazelnut lol... Flue cured tobacco I swear has hazelnut in it... so try a different recipe and let that one steep can come back later.

Am steeping it topless for day - it has alcohol in it - maybe that is what I taste - dunno - will report tmrw Sir Mack.....BTW - made a couple with Honey Tob - yes am liking it - maybe steeping will make them better too.......

I can't say the black honey tobacco is the same as my tobacco concentrate + Honey concentrate are close to the same flavor but I am sure it's good either way.

With my honey tobacco recipe, the tobacco concentrate and honey concentrate made a floral (flower like) taste. After trying an instant steep tip I read about it got rid of that floral taste. Nothing can replace time in steeping but it definitely helped. After mixing I put the cap on tight, took it to the bathroom sink and ran the hot water as hot as it goes. Lightly shook or giggled the bottle under the hot water for a couple minutes until the whole bottle of liquid is as hot as the water. Shook vigorously until I couldn't see through the juice from air bubbles. Let it sit with the cap/nozzle off for a couple hours while it cooled down, no more flower taste.

Also if you want to get the best taste of your juice and undertones, drink your favorite beverage while vaping it... refreshes the taste spuds.

Well I made some coffee extract today as part of my flavor adventure. I took a shot glass (made of glass) and put several ml of PG into it, then added an equal amount of ground coffee. Then put in into the microwave for 6 seconds, and yes that's all it takes. Stirred it while hot for a minute, folded a paper napkin stuck it on top and used my juice syringe to suck out the coffee extract. Pretty potent stuff, only need a few drops.

Just mixed some up and it taste great. I made it because I thought adding a small amount of coffee extract to mild tobacco flavors might enhance them adding a little robustness and I can always mix up a strong batch mixed with honey, vanilla, brown sugar for an awesome cappuccino juice.

Will report with more experimenting.
