I gotta say ... I'm having "iffy" results with nearly every fruit flavor ive mixed with TPA/TFA. Find them to be extremely perfumey. Lowered them down to a MAX of 5-6% and still get extreme perfume taste through the nostrils while drawing.

Do these fruit flavors settle THAT much after steeping (and for how long)? Or is it just a characteristic of these flavors. I've heard too that the small batches like WL sells might taste more perfumery than the larger batches sold directly by TPA

I'm trying to stick to tobacco recipes so I don't get addicted to your super fudge cotton candy cream cheese latte joojoo berry blast flavors. lol I noticed to avoid this I can't think with my stomach when mixing or else I end up inhaling a blueberry pie and feeling like I need a real cig. We're all different i suppose lol, but I do know what it's like to keep wanting new flavors.

Ugh ... 5% Honeydew and 2% Cotton Candy with a boiling water steep .... STILL tastes perfumey galore. To the point you can't even taste the honeydew outside of the aftertaste left in your mouth.

Starting to get really frustrated with these fruit flavors.

I had a perfume flavor with one of my flavors, tried it again a week later and it was great. So let it steep, if it doesn't help it's the flavor. Hot water steep and shaking vigorously, letting the juice breathe for a couple hours did get rid of most of the perfume flavor but time works best.

Also i must say the super perfumey flavor was the worst after first buying and opening it up, I mixed it again the other day hot water steep and it tasted fine.

you gotta let it steep for 24 hours with the cap off after the hot bath for it to get rid of that perfumy-ness... shake it alot..

i have a problem.. i mixed my regular double ry4 a couple weeks back... and im vaping it now... it tastes weird ... i mixed it at 15%.. like normal.. man, i dont wanna wait another week.. but i guess its just what i gotta do for it to taste how i like it...

Dear Santa,

i want an ultrasonic cleaner with a built in timer for 60min. and a built in heater..

thanks,
Graffinfected.

Even the Double ry4 I mixed and let steep for a month tasted musty to me. It seems to taste best with 5-10% and 10% or higher it seems to keep a musty flavor, but lower percentages seem to taste fine.

are you serious?? im gonna look into this.

Yes I'm serious lol. I seen a few other people mention the same thing after I noticed it. That's what started my full bottle of mystery juice, which has every flavor I have used and extracts except menthol. Guess what it tastes good lol, has hints of coffee and cigar and any flavor I have ever tried. Weird huh?

Out of Necterine so thought I'd use Tangerine just for the heck of it. Well, dumped a 10ml. Wish I realized before hand the Tangerine is oil based.
Nothing wrong with that if it is an essential oil and not a flavoring in vegetable oil. Lorann Tangerine, also known as Mandarin Oil is a great vape .I use two drops Tangerine and 2 drops pga to 10 ml and 2% sweetener and the 3rd day it tastes great and vapes great.

There's some misunderstanding in the vaping community about essential oils . Peppermint and Tangerine I know are ok, you would have to research any others. There is a thread somewhere on ECF on the subject.

i dont understand though.. the first time i ever mixed DRY4 was at 20% and a month later it was the best thing i ever vaped.. and it still is.. but how come im getting a different taste?? oh great its probably because im not waiting the full month... either that or maybe its because i didnt mix it at 20% this time.... this time i did it at 15%.. if its the same by the end of next week im adding 5% caramel and see whats going on.. lol

by the way XMACKX good to see u... im actually vaping on your juices right now.. im all out ima have to mix another up... its a steeper though.. ill mix a bigger batch this time.. it was good.its the flue cured one.. i have also been vaping on Lavitas brown banana (fudge brownie and banana mix he loves) its good.. its a steeper also though.. but man after those 2 weeks that fudge brightens up.. the banana nut has the brownie by the neck.. its not an all day vape for me cuz im not a huge fan of chocolate but its good..

im going to try another DRY4 batch at 10% to see what happens.. i emptied stock at WL for this stuff. lol

Before you even replied back I was thinking of telling you to try 5-10% and add carmel. :) Carmel seems to be a key in alot of my favorite vapes even if you can't tell it's their it does make it richer. My flue cure recipe I have been noticing is better in smaller doses as well otherwise it's a little too robust for me. Even though it does smell alot like hazelnut it has a smoky quality that I can easily overdo (I think I did on my last bottle). The only time I added too much flavoring was with one of my Tropic spice recipe, left it alone for 3 weeks and it tasted so darn good i vaped the whole thing and had to charge my battery twice as much that day lol. The cola flavor is really good fresh, but does calm down into a cola like flavor after steeping.

Leaving the cap off the bottle overnight made a HUGE difference. Holy cow is this LemonDew sLime outstanding now. Unfortunately the lemon lime has seemed to now completely overpower the honeydew melon atm ... but it's still a really ... really tasty vape. Perfume taste is completely gone!!! Now all I need is some sweetener in this juice and it should be pretty outstanding.

Is it possible to get the regular TPA Cotton Candy to make a flavor sugary? Or is it just a subtle sweetener that doesn't replicate the sugar taste? Seems like I've put a decent amount in this lemon lime blend and it's still not all that sweet (though it seemed to help make the lemon lime flavor stick to the tongue).

If you can't replicate a sugar-like taste with the standard cotton candy ... any recommendations?

Mack - gotta report - ur recipe was a hit:

5% commercial tobacco
3% brown sugar
2% Carmel
10% water

I may have to go 15% on water - not wicking well with cotton and CE2 - but dude - besides Johnson Crees's Domestic and Tennessee - this is my fav juice now......cant bel the amount of money I have spent looking for juices - thanks dude.......more steeping....will update on others......

Glad you like it, it's one of my favorites. Just don't go over 10-15% water as cotton tends to taste funky with too much water. I stay around 10%. Also always allow your cotton wicks to soak at least 24 hours before final judgement. Good to hear you like the juice.
