I use special alloy (grade) for Wizard, and conductance is very good.

While this mod is definitely drool worthy, I have to wonder.

I seem to recall Nasa being so fond of titanium because it is an inert metal.
I did a google search and got some widely varying post as to conductance.
One post stated it was just short of steel, another stated that if you considered
copper as 100% conductive, titanium would be at less than 5% in comparison.

Since most tube mods use the body for the ground, I wonder if you used a
special alloy that was more conductive or what.

Don't get me wrong, it looks like a great mod, and titanium is just so cool,
but it did make me wonder.

Is the special grade alloy still 100% titanium or a blend? If it is a blend, what percentage is the titanium?

Iron: max 0.3%
Nitrogen: max 0.03%

Damnit!! Another person found this thread. As long as the price is under $600, I will be adding this to my Precious collection.

JB, let's keep this a secret from the others until we at least get ours.:D

No thanks Keith! Cash will be fine. Boba’s is not for me.

Ok back to the thread. The button looks to be a touch sensor. It also looks like there is some sort of button locking device that slides/rotates over the window of the touch sensor. I also wonder if there is some sort of electronics inside for it to be VV. If there is, it is very small to also accommodate an 18650. The venting, machining and engraving look awesome. Mind you these are just my observations and assumptions! I need to get my grimmy mitts on one!

I await Mark to inform us of pricing and how to order one.

I forgot all about asking if it was a Variable Voltage unit or not, kind of just assumed they were because of the Precious-LV2 but I have to keep reminding myself that Mark is Mark and Caesar is Caesar. Hopefully Mark can give us a little more information on these and keep us informed on the progress of the first batch.
