Jonny i have iken's 901 sane resistence and those dont hit hard any mod lol but maybe your contact is a bit dirty ? (juice leaked) i was using a 3ohm carto on the wizard the other day and it was hitting quite good even at that resistence.

Regarding the envelope lol i actually haf a wtf moment when i picked mine i though they gave me the wrong package , so for next wizard a nice carton box too mark !

Packaging was done so in order not to delay shipments at the border and not being retained, next products will be packaged much better and maibe we find a faster way of transportation.

I changed out the atty, wiped down all contacts and battery sleeve, applied a little noalox to the bottom of the spring and top of spring, noalox on the threads and a dot of noalox on the switch. definitely hitting harder but not quite as much yet.

Had the same issue before swapping the spring to a copper one. Give it a shot, huge difference

i put noalox on the switch threads and a dot on the negative contact. i do this to all my mods. i havent had a problem as noalox is a great conductor. i didnt put any one the actual button or the atty connector if thats what you mean.

Oh, sorry I missunderstood, I thought you put it directly on the touch sensor. Anyway, I own both a Silver Bullet and an Alpha, and the SB's spring is a little bit too wide on top to make proper contact with the battery's small nipple. I use the spring my Alpha had, which is a little narrower and works perfectly fine.

Hint- these are in stock on Altsmoke, just checked it for ya, so grab a couple. As a sidenote, copper does oxidize fairly quick, turning from a gold-ish colour to a matte brown, thus decreasing the conductivity to the point where you can feel a lack of power. You can polish them with the special cloths or, as I do, soak them in a mixture of salt and vinegar for about 30 minutes. They come out like brand new

I tried a brand new copper spring and can tell you that it made absolutely no difference. Both springs had the same resistance and identical voltage output so if anyone claims to be able to feel the voltage difference of a millivolt, it is just a placebo affect. Kind of like when teens throw on a loud exhaust and think their Honda gained 25hp when in fact made no gains at all. Sheer myth I tell ya.

Then why did they change the spring in the Silver Bullet in the first place? Just for the love of the copper color?

I recall people claiming that they gained up to 0.3-0.4 volts on the on-load meter with the coppers springs. Anyway, not trying to make anyone buy it, just sharing the info on what actually worked for me.

just picked up Wizard #008 (got the very last one available) at the PO this morning. it's just as beautiful as i had imagined and extremely lightweight. pictures will be posted soon and thank you, Mark, for the mod!

I think the biggest effect on performance on the Wizard is your finger. For example, I spent most of the day today very cold and my hands were very dry, couldn't get it to activate at all, place finger on tongue, blammo works like a champ again...

Hello everyone!

I have two things I would like to mention (and I apologize beforehand if they have been mentioned already)

1)According to my kitchen precision scale (+- 1gr), the Wizard is actually 37gr! And together with the battery a total of only 84gr!
2)Is anybody interested in starting a list of owners and their perspective serial number of their Wizard?
