I've been telling every vendor etc that someone should make a glass tank for the Vivi. I got a response from IBTanked.
Here is their response.
Hi Steve,

I believe we are having the dimensions for the Vivi Nova confirmed and
will have them listed on the site soon.

Like they say the squeaky wheel get the grease. No more cracked plastic or a metal tank.

I am about to ask a very, very stupid question... I do have experience with volcano's clearomizers, which are plastic, and they do develop a crack after some cleanings... I think glass, and I think shatters if you look at it wrong... Am I missing something here? I'm sure it will look better, but does glass not also crack? If not for some reason, then yes, bring them on xD

Hmmmm very interesting. I had really liked my novas but had set them aside, one due to the plastic although I don't really vape juices that will crack it, and second the rubber grommit, was rebuilding with mesh and would twist the legs but sometimes in my head and sometimes obvious it would get the rubber taste.

If it's thin then I'm sure it will be fragile. Some glass tanks like the ones Phiniac makes can be thrown against concrete and survive.

By not cracking, they are meaning that certain juices i.e cinnamon for example, will not crack or etch the tanks.

I am hazarding a guess and the glass only worry about if you drop. Some juices, especially cinnamon and some very citrus juices can cloud/crack plastic tanks, but not glass ones, plus no concern of taste being off.

EDIT: Sorry, the above poster beat me to the reply.

I thank you both for your responses. That cleared that up, but with every answered question another unanswered one arises... Is there a list I can view of types of juices that crack tanks? More so, is banana one of them?

Back on topic, Glass VN tanks sound quite nice provided they make them well :D

I haven't heard of banana being one that cracks tanks, but I can not say with any certainty. There is a thread I saw previously that was trying to gather a list of juices that cracked tanks. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/219179-lets-make-list-juices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos.html

Cant help but laugh at the posts about the Pyrex breaking.Ive seen a video of a Phiniac being thrown at a brick wall...no shattering ...didnt even scratch it.

Pyrex is heat treated glass thats extremely tough....if you have a glass baking dish for casseroles at home its the same kinda glass.

Juices taste better from glass versus plastic as well. Thats why good bars serve mixed drinks in glass versus solo cups.
