My ecig was right where I left it. Check my stash of supplies......right where I left them. Seems the FDA didn't break into my home and confiscate my ecig materials while I was sleeping.......

Fired up the PC and check the sites of 6-8 suppliers that I use on a regular basis. Seems that I can get all of the attys, batteries, juice and extras that I want to pay for. (At least for 901's)

Did a google search for "May 5 FDA ban" and the only thing that comes up is the same article from the same fringe publication that has been warning of this for a while. (I honestly expected that the same article would be showing, but this time with the date changed to the 15th or something just to keep up the hype).

Seems that all is well. I wonder what will happen when today comes and goes and nothing happens.........What will the new conspiracy theory be? (Not that we are short of them around here recently)

Fire up your PV's everyone and enjoy!!!:pervy::thumbs:

Shhh. I hear the liquid in digital watches was never tested by the FDA. We could all be going back to analog soon.

I wonder if we can vap the liquid in our watches. I'm starting to have flashbacks to the 60s

disclaimer: don't try this at home it hasn't been FDA approved and it's still in the experimental stages.

Elendil,
The thing is even if the FDA doesn't ACT today and speak today, doesn't change the fact that they've confiscated supplies, stock is hard to get, and they are trying to gain control over tobacco products.

I'm not sure why you're not concerned. Any of our orders from overseas can be stuck at the border.

If the FDA doesn't make a statement today and IF the email was a hoax, they STILL can confiscate orders at customs. And, the Waxman bill will STILL be submitted for a vote at some point in the near future.

I guess my attitude is getting my shorts in a knot isn't going to change anything at all.

Will it suck IF the FDA takes action? YES

Will it suck for U.S. suppliers IF the FDA takes negative action? YES

Did I sign the petition and do I want ecigs sales to continue in their current form? YES

Have I written to my Congressman (Halverson) and U.S. Senator (Durbin--Burris doesn't count) expressing my concern? YES (I bet not all forum members can say that if they know who their Congressman/Senator(s) is/are)

Beyond that, wringing my hands or engaging in speculation is not productive at all. I refuse to be bothered by it, know that so long as I keep my orders small, I will have no problem getting supplies.

Again, my comments are from the perspective of an ecig consumer, of course I have sympathy for the suppliers that can be effected by negative FDA action, but being realistic, it is unlikely to effect my vaping activities...........

(But, I do not believe you will see any FDA action in the immediate future to begin with)
