Woodvil to match my banjo?

Hey folks
Just got a grand lp a few weeks ago and I'm in love! Now I want a woodie. My pride and joy is my Gibson rb 4 banjo. This is not a banjo you see every day. It would be so cool to have a matching woodvil. It's a burl walnut resonator, with a rosewood fretboard. Has this combo been done? I don't see one on the site. I'm sure the inlay would be a custom thing. Is that even doable?

I wouldn't think a walnut burl body with a rosewood door would be something that couldn't be done. The hard part would be making sure you hit the buy button quick enough when it went on sale.

Haha.. you just find the chunk of wood you want and send it in to the master! He will give you the "it will get done when I get it done" and then out a nowhere you get a knock on your door and there it is!

Prob on the next woodvil run but yeah. Contact rob and send in your wood.

Might take a while to get it - but I think it's worth it.
Look at Bassnorma's matchy-matchy. I think it's AWESOME.

And seeing as Rob is a musician, he'd probably enjoy building it...just guessin'.
