Okay, how many are laying in the weeds for a fresh new woodvil from this next crop Rob has brewing up?

I for one am going to pounce on one as soon as they hit.

This is the thread to admit you are laying in the weeds and what specific woodie are you actually craving.

Who is up first?

Yeah...I am hoping to get one. Not sure which one. This will be my first time trying to get one.

I'm gonna try. Not real sure why though. I guess just because they're so beautiful and unique. Aside from that...I'd much prefer just buy another metal one, but, they're...beautiful...and unique.

I am for sure even hoarding away cash where I can for the sale, as to which one I'm not particular on that really just want one. Having said that the Lacewood, Zebras, or any of the burls would be a nice addition to my collection. But will be more than happy with whichever one I get.

Honestly, im not interested in the woodies. I think theyre beautiful, sure. But highly impractical for a clumsy pipefitter whos always dropping, hitting, and otherwise abusing his poor grand(ahem... Me).

And this is why mine will never see the inside of our welding shop. The bottoms of my metal ones already have some nice scratches on the bottom from our carbon steel fabrication tables. The last time I took my SL to work I got home and it was kind of filled with grinding grit ooops.

My opinion matches Fishcakes. I think they're absolutely beautiful mods, but they're not for me. If I got one it'd be stored away and never used probably. I'd rather take an LP/SL Grand that can take the abuse my mods take. I think I drop mine every day, it never seems to fail haha. I'll be admiring the ones people get and post here on the forum though.
