WOOHOO! Alternative Connector for 510

Yeah, forget about trying to find the info on that chip for the m401 charger. Done tried to find out. Would be trial and error to kick the charging ma up. I do beleive the charger itself is protected though. Too bad they are out of 510 chargers. Can anyone vouch that the atomizer threads for the m201 and m401 are the same. Right?

I'm all set to install my 401 charging board in my nicostick but stil waiting on snail mail from china with my batteries

i seem to remember you chose the snail mail option

i believe the 510 and 401 are mirror images re connectors. i dont know about the 201

Good luck mnealtx, you're probably gonna beat me to putting a charging board in my nicostick. Everythings set out on my work bench to do it minus my batteries. I'm a hell of a procrastinator, let me tell you. Just been looking at tons of sites lately looking for the best options. I Believe i'm very close to what I want to do.

P.s. http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8401 has mini solderable usb connectores. That is if you want to wait on shipping.

Possibly, if all the rest of my stuff shows up - the mail clerk says that I *did* have a box come in today. That's either my momentary switches, the batteries/charger, or the AA boxes themselves.

I think for a charging connector, I'd use a mini-usb female, *IF* I can find one and shoehorn it into the box.

Being overseas, EVERYTHING is 'snail mail'...

that is funny. I used the same bayonet lamp holder on my 401 UPAC mod. I didn't like the draw on it till I cut a slit in the center post with a dremel. I still would rather have a threaded adapter but it works abd is cheap.
