I didn't have to let mine sit. They were good to go right away. Did you remove that little circular piece just above the wicks? It tastes better without it, remove that if you haven't already. Also, these are better with lower voltage than what I would normally use for the resistance. Hope you enjoy them like I do!!!
Not sure what piece you are talking about...just above the wick...do you mean the rubber piece, from the bottom, when you unscrew it?
No, it's this little tiny whitish, clearish round piece, I believe it's silicone. Turn the T3 upside down, unscrew the bottom and look at the tube above the wicks, it's there.
