Working with TFA Raspberry - noob challenges

So I'm about three weeks into mixing and I am pretty pleased with the progress but have one flavor that I just can't get right.

Raspberry, my favorite fruit so go figure.

Bill's recipe for Raspberry Danish looks incredible but every time I've mixed it I get floral notes. I started at 8% and have gone down to 6% and nothing changes. Does Raspberry require a deep steep. I use 1ml syringes for all my flavorings.

This is the recipe for reference:

Raspberry Frosted Danish
Raspberry - 8-9%
Vanilla Custard - 4%
Brown Sugar - 3%
Sweetener - 3%
Waffle/Belgian Waffle- 3%
Sweet Cream - 2-3%
Butter - 2-3%
Cream Cheese Icing(LA) - 2%

Thanks for the reply Mrdaputer.

I haven't tried a warm water steep but did leave it uncapped for the night, I read here that it helped another member with the same challenge. I haven't gone back to it yet, I have a wicked cold and can't taste anything. I have some sense 0f smell and this morning it smelled excellent.

It's been steeping for about a week. I have to get this one working, it sounds fantastic!

Does TFA Raspberry normally need steeping?
