I've given up on atties. Have tried 3 or 4 different ones and blown over $100. They're all in the trash. They either 1) broke quickly 2) tasted terrible or 3) I never fully figured out how to use them. I'm sticking with cartos. They at least work almost all the time. I'm having good luck with the ressurectors and trusty boges.

Cartos and Atomizers are designed to fail after a fashion. If you look at the design all atomizers consist of are controlled electrical faults. In essence we are using an electrical short to vaporize our liquids. I've had a few that have lasted more than a month and most over a week or two, but there are always going to be atomizers and cartos that come off the line and aren't up to par. We've all had them, we even practice similar purchasing techniques on light bulbs, air filters, hair dryers, etc.

Usually you expect a 4 to 8% fail rate or (return rate) on any hardware, with the Boge I've come across a 2% rate which is sexy when you look at it from my POV. Getting 3 in a row though, that's just bad luck and needs to be looked into.

i read about the same thing through ave in a different section of feedback, imho it must just have been a bad batch, which happens, i worked HVAC for years, and we use capacitors for heat pumps and acs, every once in a while, we would get a box, put them in acs all over and a couple weeks later the calls roll in that its not working and the brand new capacitors we put in were dead, unfortunatly if it was a bad batch and ou order a bunch, they are most likely from the same batch and all gonna suck. anyways, i bought two boge attys when i odered from ave a couple months ago, and they are still going strong, i even de bridged them and that usually can screw them up if your not careful, hoep fully your problem will be solved, good luck!

Hey Ben, thanks for sending me new atomizers when I requested a refund and you sent me an email saying you were going to refund the money. NOT. I even said I would take juice in exchange for the atomizers. I know you read my messages because there is a time and a date of saying when you viewed the messages. This seems really snakey and like you are going behind my back.

EDIT

I believe there was a mistake Ben has just refunded my money. I'm not trashing Ben. I was ticked after he said he would give me a refund. If you look I am still participating in the threads even after I posted this. I don't have hard feelings toward Ben.

Can't you handle this via help desk ticket?

This would make things easier. I had a nice help desk ticket today I was going to write, but I'll do it here instead.

To Derek,

I've sent out new atomizers to you. I hope you enjoy them. Please tell me if you have a similar experience with them or if these act more in line with your expectations. I have also, refunded you 22.50USD the price of the 3 atomizers in question. A transaction detail will be mailed to you via authorize.net please look for it in your e-mail or spam box. I hope you enjoy the atomizers, and with hope, look forward to your continued patronage.

Best wishes,

Ben

Generally, our atomizers come with a DOA (only) warranty, however, in this instance I made the exception to do both an exchange and a refund. From now on can we just keep this on the help desk area and exercise a little bit of patience? If anything handling this issue on two fronts has slowed down the process.

I will let you know if I have the same experience with the atomizers. I also sent you another message. Thanks.

Another example of why I always refer everyone I know to Ben and Christy!!!!! :)

Even though AveJuice is no longer a supplier on Nu-Vapor where I am a mod, I still openly promote AveJuice to everyone there because of my faith in Ben's products and his customer service. I have even referred other suppliers to try his juice with a guarantee that I would buy it from them if they didn't like it. Guess what, not a single one sold me their juice. In fact, many people still blame me for getting them hooked on Boba's.:p

In this case of the "short lived" atomizers, I think Ben has gone above and far beyond what was expected. Not only has son et lumiere had his atties replaced but has also received a refund which is way more than anyone could expect and something almost unheard of.

Ben, "You Rock"!!!!:thumb:
