Would anyone be interested in a joke sub forum?

Since not many topics are taboo here and so many degenerate into senseless rants, we might try to lighten the mood by having people post jokes.

My collection is running kind of low on new material.

I have no idea on how to get this going. Might it be just as simple to start a thread called "Joke of the Day"?

Also, would we need to set some boundries and standards-such as no jokes about religion or race?

I'd enjoy that - can always stand a laugh. And I think you're right, ethnic jokes probably wouldn't/shouldn't fly.

While I dearly love reading jokes, I've seen what joke forums become on other boards -- a few people start abusing them by cut-and-pasting any and all drivel they get by e-mail, and pretty soon the forum is useless because there are thirty or forty copies of every joke, and you can't find a true laugh in the bunch.
