Would someone mind checking my shopping list?

Just want to get a double check on my shopping list. Would like to make sure I got everything I need to get started. I originally wasn't going to buy so much until I saw the free shipping offer at ecigexpress - "spend 60.00 get free shipping". So I spent just a tad over 60.

-36mg Unflavored Nicotine Base: 250ml
-Propylene Glycol USP: 1 Liter
-Vegetable Glycerin USP: 1 Liter
-RY4 DOUBLE: 30ml
-Vanilla Custard: 26ml
-Ethyl Maltol Liquid Concentrate: 10ml
-10ml 6x Syringe & 6x long blunt needles

I already have some small clear glass bowls & empty ejuice bottles. Might pick up some small funnels also. I have a feeling that I'm missing something, but not sure what. Hoping someone can double check my list for me and let me know if I left out anything.

you would be better off trying to get 72mg nic base, will last twice as long. Other than that i would say that you don't really need 6 syringes and needles? You won't be able to use a needle with VG anyway, too thick. Oh and you may want a 1ml syringe for the concentrates.

Got it, next time I'll order higher nic base. I was actually wondering about that when I ordered 36 nic. I figured I'd just start lowish so I wouldn't kill myself . As far as the needles go, it was a cheap pack that cam with 6 needles and blunts. I really just wanted 1, but the pack was so cheap I just bought 6.

That reminds me. I was thinking about getting a eye drop. Do you think a syringe or a eye drop would be better for the concentrates?

I use a blunt needle for my VG, but I guess it will depend on the gauge of the items you bought. And use a syringe for concentrates, eye droppers are tedious.

A 1 ml syringe will be useful for measuring the flavors. You will want to start with small batches, 10 ml or less, until you nail down your preferred percentages, and so the flavoring amounts can be pretty small. The smaller syringe allows you to be more accurate, which allows your results to be more repeatable.

But you're going to be diluting the nic base with either PG or VG, makes sense to buy the highest nic if it's the same strength. You're still going to need a 1ml syringe, 10ml ones aren't accurate enough for the low levels of concentrates that you'll need to add. "That looks about right" can cause all sorts of face pulling

You may want to buy some 1ml syringes but it Looks like your all set to mix up some RY4D.

Start with
7% ry4D
2% - 3% vanilla custard

I don't think you'll need to add EM to it. I don't.

Steep for 3 - 5 weeks or hot water bath at 150f for 3 - 5 hours and your good to go.

The 10ml syringe with No needle works best to suck up VG. If the syringe does not reach all the way into the bottle I'll pore some into a small bowl and suck it up from there. A 50ml cylinder works well for your large batch mixes.

when buying flavors in the future go with the smallest bottle available, sample 3ml-10ml bottles if available, keeps you from getting something you end up not liking and having to throw away a ton of flavoring that would have made multiple bottles of juice.

You may want to also look into getting 2-4 small plastic/glass beakers with graduation marks to 25ml min for your VG. Since it's so think I find these to be the best for me to work with since I only have to pour the amount that I need and transfer it into the mix. Just a thought
