DIY Newbie Questions

Thanks for all the great info in the stickies that everyone has already posted. I'm ready to try DIY and want to make sure I'm on the right track.

I currently have the following in my shopping cart at MyFreedomSmokes:

250ml 50/50 100mg/ml nicotine base
500ml USP VG
500ml USP PG
8x 30ml bottles
6x syringes in 3 sizes
2x 100ml beakers
1x Funnel

So other than flavorings, does it look like I have everything I need? Is MyFreedomSmokes a good reliable source for this DIY stuff?

Finally, I need some recipe recommendations:

My wife likes menthol, she currently vapes Halo SubZero, any recipe recommendations for a menthol?

I vape Halo Tribeca, I've seen some clone recipes using TPA RY4 Double and TPA Acetyl Pyrazine, so I think I'll give that and the variants a try.

I also like Purple Rain Sub Ohm from Firebrand, anyone know of a grape flavoring that might be similar?

You might want to get some 10ml and 15ml bottles for testing out new recipes.

I'd recommend 10 just because it is the easiest to break down percentages in your head.

MFS is a great site! That's where I started purchasing my DIY supplies and I still purchase my nicotine there. I usually get my PG and VG from ecigexpress now since they're a bit cheaper.

Good luck on the DIY adventure. It's rewarding and sure saves you a lot of money! I would send some recommendations but I don't vape menthol and haven't attempted a RY4 style vape yet!
