I have basically no technical knoweledge; just have been learning since I became a PV aficionado, so I am willing to mod a 510 atty, but dont know if Im on the right track here... Any input would be appreciated; Thanks in advance and Im sorry if this has been posted before (could not find it...!) or if this sounds 'too much on the supid side', so to speak... Here we go:
I was wondering if it would be possible to mod a 510 (or other atties...) this way:
Blocking the regular air channels and re-making new ones closer to the mouth end. I guess air would not flow through the coil as necessary but this could be compensated by means of a pipe which forces air down the coil... Similar to a Dripping Shield, maybe??? Dont know, anyhow, my aim is to compensate for the extra-leaking 510 I have...
So, What do y'all think?
Thanks!

I do not know much about this stuff, but I do have a bullismoker a2 which has a 510 connection on it and the holes in the connector have been sealed shut with solder and there is a holw in the side of the tube next to the coil. At times it seems a bit airy but with the help of an o ring I am able to adjust where the hole is. Not sure how well it would work if the hole was at the top but maybe just above the coil might work??? Not sure hope this might help

The coil needs turbulence to atomize the liquid. If you move the hole up, there won't be enough turbulence around the coil.

I know, I know; I thought so...
