Would this USB charger work for a box mod?

I've got this cheap, worthless AA powered USB charger kicking around collecting dust, and I'm kinda itching to try building a mod. Could something like this work? Simple on/off switch, rated for 5v.

Should I try to drill a hole and solder in a 510 connection, or could something like this work CHINA-SELLS.COM-Wholesale and retail supply of electronic cigarettes from China - Adapter USB ?

I'm up for either and have some time on my hands until starting a new work contract in a couple weeks.

if I am reading you right you intend to use the electronics already in the box to fire an atomizer? most likely that will not work very well and you will be better off turning it into an unregulated mod. I kind of doubt the circuit in there would be able to fire an atomizer with much authority.

try it with more powerful batteries than AAs, if it can plug into the wall that should work. also you should be able to make your own USB to 510 connector easy i wouldn't buy that.

doesn't really make sense to mod if your spending more for less.

How about a picture of the internals of this.....at any rate, you can take all the guts out of this case and build your own mod....14500 batteries will work but would need to be charged by an auxilliary charger....good luck.....
