Would you buy an E-Cigarette from the "Big Tobacco" companies?

  • Never! They got me addicted to nicotine in the first place!

  • I would think about it only if the product was cheaper than cigarettes.

  • I would think about it because they can spend more money on testing.

  • Yes. I would trust Big Tobacco over an E-cigarette company.

  • Yes! Right away. They have the money to make a great product.

Yes that's what I'm saying.
Okay, I figured that is what you were trying to say, but I doubt it will go down like that.
The little guys are no threat to Big tobacco, they will just be niche markets in my opinion.

I doubt Big tobacco is going to lobby to make things harder and more expensive for themselves.
I think it is far more likely they'll be lobbying to make things less hard and less expensive.

After all, they are going to be fighting Big Pharma and Anti-Zealots that will be trying to influence the FDA on regulations.
And that's going to happen with or without Big tobacco involved.

Either we'll be fighting those guys with Big Tobacco on our side, or without Big Tobacco on our side.
And if that is how it plays out, I think I would prefer Big Tobacco on our side.

yes, Yes Yesssss! I agree 100%
I really don't think that Big Tobacco will kill off the small vendors.
I believe we would still have our niche of boutique juice makers and mod builders selling to knowledgeable consumers.

Big Tobacco would eat up people like Blu and NJoy and Smoking Everywhere.
And that might be a very good thing, if the product they produce is safe and without additives.

And I'm quite certain the vaping public would demand that it be safe, and ingredients be listed for all to see.

I would probably continue to support the small vendors.
But it would be nice to stop in a 7-11 and pick up something as needed.

I blame me for starting smoking, not "big tobacco".

The only factor that would make me wary of them getting involved in PV's is them lobbying for regulation that they can afford but smaller companies can't, to push them out of the industry. And in that case, I blame the Government for allowing this tactic not "big tobacco".

I wouldn't. Not because they got me addicted but because of all the games they've played to keep me addicted. Based on the carp they have added to tobacco over the years, I wouldn't trust them to make a clean product. Additionally, because of the number of retailers they deal with, the shelf life would have to be very long and that means they'd be adding lots of preservatives. I prefer to buy liquid from artisans who make a quality product.

As far as hardware is concerned, if they produced an interesting atomizer, I could see adding one to my vaping arsenal. But I wouldn't replace the small vendors who have done so well for me in the past.

In general, if BT made hardware comparable or better than what I currently use I would concider buying it.

As for e-juice, not likely. I have major trust issues with BT's past history of NOT listing all ingreadients in thier products. Even if some federal agency has regulations in place I would have a hard time trusting that they are actualy telling the truth.

On the other hand having BT's resources on the side of e-cigs would probibly be a good thing. Might slow down or even stop the new local laws lumping e-cigs with analogs in when and where we can use them. Seattle is one place where it doesn't matter if your using an e-cig or analog, they have made the local laws apply to both equaly, that sucks.

Hell I DO BLAME Big Tobacco as well as myself and I'll tell you why.

Myself I blame Because I knew what I was getting into yes. BT I blame because They knew the use of their product was killing people and they didn't care. They didn't give a crap at all. They sell DEATH for MONEY. They get you Addicted to Murdering Yourself and they charge you for it!

The responsible thing for BT to do would have been to STOP SELLING The PRODUCT as soon as they learned it caused cancer.

If they had done the right thing and not sold it, I would have never agreed to try it because it would not be there as a temptation.

They tell you not to buy coke-cain or Pot or other recreational drugs because somewhere down the line somebody had to DIE for you to get that drug. Their Blood is on your hands.

That's the same with buying tobacco products. You are feeding a bunch of Murderers that take your money to use to continue to Murder others. Buying Tobacco is Blood Money and Blood is on all of our hands.

BT makes all of us accessories to Murder.

You bet I blame them. I blame me too but you cannot let BT out of their part in this by simply saying " It was my fault for making a choice to use Cigarettes.. That's the biggest load of Bull Caca I ever heard.

wow...speechless.i agree.my brains fried now though.this is the best poll to date.really made me think!

Never. I like supporting smaller vendors, and don't trust BT to not cut costs and use low quality ingredients, preservatives, etc. in their product. They are all about profit, where many of the vendors I've dealt with are in the Vapers FOR Vapers category, use the products they sell, and have outstanding customer service (standing behind their products).

You're not going to get that level of customer care from BT
