Would you pay extra for better shipping options? (Suppliers please take note)

Would you pay extra for better shipping options?

  • I would pay extra for Fed-Ex 2nd day shipping.

  • I would pay extra for UPS Ground service it's more reliable.

  • USPS Priority works great for me

  • Any type shipping works for me, I don't mind waiting.

We all have stalked the mailman waiting for orders, priority mail, first class,
doesn't seem to matter, we wait and wait and wait....
When I spend big $$$$ for an order and extra $5- $10 to be able to have
a resonable expection of the delivery date is minor.

p.s. This is my very first poll, hope I'm doing it right!!

Most vendors I've ordered from in the US (where I live) manage to get packages to me within about 48 hours. I can't really complain about that, especially since many charge only a few bucks for it.

I'd PREFER shipping via UPS, FedEx or DHL (I'm an anarchist, opposed on principle to funding state agencies) but seeing as USPS postage is subsidized and almost always cheaper up front, I can't blame them practically for using it. And the USPS is one of the least egregious state agencies, so...

Started this poll because this is my latest shipping update::mad::censored::censored::mad:
Wondered how many others experienced the same, I had one shipment returned to
sender because my address didn't exist!! (although a previous and replacement shippment
were delivered to the EXACT same address)

Two packs of clearomizers from Trenton, NJ to Rochester, NY took 5 days... mostly because it chilled out in Brooklyn for two days. 5 days to go a 6 hour drive, rediculous.
Two attys from somwhere in Florida took 3 days to get to Rochester, NY.
Same first class shipping option for both.
I guess I don't order anything from the tri-state area anymore :(

I've learned to love Fedex 2-day after using it a lot with my Amazon Prime membership... things often come overnight depending on where they're shipped from. Depending on what I order, I'd pay extra for it.

Take the Darwin that is en route to my house, for instance... I would have paid for overnight had that been an option. Waiting can be brutal!

I would rather pay the cheapest shipping cost. Why? Everytime I pay for priorty mail it takes like 7 days. (Why bother?) I seek out first class mail and wait the same time as paying for priority. I have yet to obtain a package from ecig vendor within the 2-3 days priorty. The only one who came close was Gourmet Vapor at 4 days 5 days if I count the day I ordered. (I am talking about priority mail).

I hear folks raving about how quick they get their goods. I am happy when I actually get them in 5-7 days.

Once I order from a vendor and I don't receive the product within 7 days I don't order from them again. I think it is bad customer service and will not spend my money on that site. The biggest majority of the vendors I have tried seem to pride themselves on fast shipping and get products out within 48 hours. I must compliment the majority of vendors here on ECF. They are awesome.
