I started vaping a little over 9 months ago and it took some trial and error, but I've found what works for me. LT w/ a carto tank. I haven't been on the forums much at all since I found what works for me, and wow! There are so many different things out now that weren't there 6 months ago. Am I really missing out on anything sticking w/ my LT and carto tank?

If you have something that's working for you, no - not in my opinion. Why chase the rainbow when you already have the gold? 
I recently picked back up vaping too, it's was about a 1 1/2 years that I was gone, and when I came back too the forums I was like WOW! There are so many new things that are around now! I was like ahh what is a rba? I quickly caught up to date with was I was missing 
I would say yes. I absolutely despise almost every cart/tank. They are the devils work and they come from the devils workshop and I despise things made by the devil because they leak and suck burnt wick.

If you have what works for you, no you're not really missing much. If you're a tinkerer then RBA's are one of the best innovations in recent vaping technology and probably worth a go. And if you're looking for a new PV, there's a lot of new variable wattage devices on the cheap.
Funny, because of a thread on here yesterday, I pulled an old e-Power out of the zombie box. Stuck a fresh battery in it and a new carto and hay!! it's pretty good. Then I grabbed an old Smok atty to try, and it tasted good too. So I got out a 2.5ohm carto that came with a SD Keyring I bought about a year ago, and it tastes great. Guess I'm saying that while a lot of the new stuff you see might be a bit different, the old tried and true products still work great too.
IMHO, no. I went back to carto tanks after trying many other setups. I HATE dry hits and I don't get 'em with my carto/tank combos. BTW, no leaks, either.
I'm just now evaluating RBAs.
I think I'm just gonna stick w/ the LT and carto tank. I've already wasted enough money on other crap just to get where I'm at. If I ever get a craving for a real cigarette, then I'll be willing to fork out more money for something new. But a few months ago I was drinking and my battery went dead. I just "had" to bum a smoke from a buddy and I wanted to throw up!! I most definately prefer my ecig over the real thing.
i love my carto tank. but i also love rebuildables and bridgeless atomizers too!
Stuff that was boring and hacked together for words compared to today's standards!
