I was just sitting here thinking how many analogs have I not smoked since I went to vaping and it about knocked me over! i have been analog free since 9/25/13 that's 415 days and I have avoided exactly 8300 analogs and have saved $3,957.5 in that time, I already deducted the cost of my vape gear from my savings from not buying analogs for the 415 day span and 4300 some odd dollars is a bunch of money. Has anyone else been blown away by your stats and how do some of you post little things at the bottom of your page that keeps track of that for you? Boy if I could go back and recoup the money I spent over 30 years of smoking I'd be a wealthy man but I guess that's the price we pay for trying to be like our favorite movie stars, song artists, and assorted idols. I never considered it really until now and I'm breathless from my smoking for an entirely different reason for once and I don't even smoke anymore. When I started smoking it was 54 cents a pack and now there are some places where they are 20 times more than that today, simply amazing how hind sight truly is 20/20!:?:

128 days of vaping and over 7700 analogs avoided. I didn't quit completely at first, but I have probably smoked less than 2 packs since I started vaping. I haven't saved any money I am sure because I got into DIY juice. But I don't care my lungs are happier, I am healthier. And 7700 - that is a freaking scary number for such a short time!

In 275 days I've avoided 5,512 cigarettes. I can't believe I used to smoke that many. It definitely doesn't feel like that many while you're smoking because you don't count them. But over time it definitely adds up. So glad that I'm not smoking those 5,000 cigarettes anymore and I feel healthy again. It's such a good feeling when you look at that number and realize that you're doing something good and healthy for yourself.

According to my banner.... wait for it....(I`ll edit in a sec, gotta post to see it)

So it says, in 5 months, 10 days and some odd hours, I avoided 2948 Ciggies.

But its more than that... I was PAD. When I started vaping, took me around 5 days to get off. But... I smoked... like... half and then half of that, then half of that, and then half of that almost... 20-10-5-2-1

AND I am slowly gaining on the money I spent on Vaping.

Well I want to say thanks for everyone stopping in and sharing, I'm now 417 days 8380 cigs avoided $4,005.50 saved and going strong. You know I really enjoy reading the success stories and the avenues people took to get to a quit date and whether it was a step-down process or if they just committed to the switch and didn't look back. It validates just how well this works to help people do what they know they have needed to do for their health but couldn't find an outlet that allowed them complete control over the process. More people have successfully quit and haven't relapsed so to speak using this and I truly believe that is because of the fact that each individual has the ability to customize so many attributes to fit their personality, style, and habit characteristics so that it doesn't shock their system and they don't feel a sense of complete abandon. They can satisfy an entire array of cravings and habitual characteristics that were associated with their smoking habit without becoming stressed from a complete alteration of lifestyle, especially for those like myself that smoked for over 2/3 of their life. With this their is a network of folks that help keep us excited by our decision through forum, conventions, reviews, competitions, and lounges that are designed just for us. I don't know anyone that has ever held a nicorette gum or nica-derm cq convention, forum, or competition. Has anyone ever searched the web looking for the latest designer have to have nicotine patch and then blogged about it or how great it was working for them and let's face it their isn't any significant savings there. Doctors appointment copay $30.00, cost of script $15.00-$40.00 depending on script insurance coverage of your health plan and if the first script is too strong you'll continue to pay this until you get something that doesn't make you have nightmares, cold sweats, anxiety attacks, and hallucinations. Even if you start as a dual user but eventually quit paper and fire for liquid and wire at least you got there and you did it on your own time in a way that didn't fail you, break the bank, or stress you to the gills, so congratulate yourself for being successful. If you're still in the dual phase and working at it stick with it, you'll get there and when you do you'll be glad you did. Remember you have all of us here at ECF to back you and lift you up no matter how many times you fall and that is a support group spanning many continents. :)
