A trick I read for those CLR heads is to take the bottom pin out of one of the TC coil heads and use that when you rebuild the CLR head. There are larger holes in the TC ones so you get a little more air flow.

bicycle tired me out a bit - wouldn't have been so bad without the wind

Put a electric Crystalyte motor on it....I did,makes cycling more enjoyable especially for against the wind.It's now pedal when you want!
