Fell behind. heard furbabies barking and then Luckily heard mail truck and went on out because just as i was passing by the kitchen window i could see she was trying to Bend an envelope to stuff in the mailbox. went out and had 3 of the Christmas gifts i ordered. 2 of them (one of which she was trying to Bend) Had Do not Bend all over it 
So really glad i did go because that stopped her from trying to Bend it and item was A OK

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you ever want to run again you will need surgery and it will 6-9 months until you can do so.
That's if you have a torn acl, they basically know right away when the pull on your leg. If they pull below your knee and see your shin move up its a acl.

an Orthopedic Surgeon looked at it, and he thinks a torn ACL...
I still need an MRI to determine how bad the injury is...

Yup, just as I guessed when you said you slipped on ice. Hyperextension for a torn ACL. DAYUM Gurl. VERY sorry to hear it. On the plus side, if they have to go in and clean things up, they REALLY do a good job. And there will likely NOT be a visible scar, they go through the TINIEST little holes. My blown knee is easily the stronger of the two, 25+ years later. And I was running within 6 weeks after the surgery. I'm sure they are even BETTER at it now.
