The Doc says it's my ACL... I have injured it.. BADLY...

I was just looking at some articles on ACL injury.. here is what they say:
ACL injury usually occurs when the knee is hyperextended (straightened) and a pivot occurs simultaneously.


so, now, i am sure it happened when I slipped on the ice.. I slipped
and caught myself, so I wouldn't fall...
I hyperextended my knee and pivoted..
this is the most common cause of ACL injury...

I will have an MRI... and then, we will see from there, as of now, I will have to use
crutches and stay off it as much as possible.

I was hoping for snow... BUT, now, I am NOT wanting snow and ice...
