Same here while it changed the holidays for me I decided it won't change for my family and now instead of my grandparents house we go to my dad's or have my dad in and that way my child gets to have what I did.

If it's a torn ACL get it fixed right away. Cause of military medical it took 5 months to get mine done and it never came close to full recovery.

With that being said, after an overseas move and a move back, plus all the extra expenses involved with the two, I'm down to 3 guns and I won't even get to shoot'em any time soon Might pick up an el-cheapo Norinco CQ just to scratch the itch and sell it used before flying back. Would lose like $100 all told and get plenty of use out of it.
