Tonight... At 7pm she died in her hospital bed... She was on her pain meds and went easy ...
This woman raised me... She may have been my grandmother but she was my Mommy..
She was the glue that kept this family together... And my heart is aching with the loss of her.

I am sorry for your loss. Hang onto the beautiful love that you have for her. It sounds like she was a wonderful person, called to Heaven when her work here was done.

I just read through all of this. I'm so sorry for your loss Ash. I feel for you. I miss my mom terribly and especially at this time. My mom passed 3 years ago Dec 22nd. I cherish the memories of her and not so much the last year of her life. I'll pray, asking for God's comfort on you and yours.
