42,000 yet 46,000 heart related deaths, not counting Lung cancer deaths and 900 infant deaths.
No actual Data collection methods are clearly revealed though they mention Bio-markers?
Not that I have any doubt Smoking is very bad, especially with what science has been allowed to do both to tobacco and to processing of tobacco product. However I must wonder about numbers that just don't add up or may be pulled randomly from the air.
I have known smokers to pass on before 50yrs and others to live to near 100.
Had I learned sooner it may have been different, but my 4 grew up in a 2 parent smoking Home and Never got more than the winter cold.
I personally believe a very major change over a very shorty time in our society has had a sever impact on human health. Not a single impact like smoking. especially with the decline on overall smokers over the decades.
*That may be lower percentage but only slightly less actual people due to population increases.
Increase in fast food being eaten, increase in general laziness watching a lot of tv, video games and not going outside in general, massive increase in smoking especially indoors(in the 70's Early 80s)... all those factors add up you're definitely right, blaming smoking for all of them makes the numbers much less likely... but when you combine the other two with the smoking it puts people at more risk so meh not quite sure where I stand on that one :S

Personally...............Put BT out of business....... Will require some job funding and major budget overhauls, but it will eliminate one aspect of Downward suicidal spiral of humanity.

I'm in lIke 20 vape groups. Lol. I try to win what I can so my vape budget can stay small and I can spoil mah twins. I've never won anything on FB, except a handmade drip tip. Only won stuff through here, and thanks to those wins (and @LouisLeBeau )my fiance and I finally each have a back-up setup. Lol
