NICE!! Does everyone remember to bring you a birthday present when they come visit for Christmas? My son was born on Christmas day. That old saying about getting cheated is SO WRONG! Everyone goes out of their way to get him a special BIRTHDAY present in addition to his Christmas present, and EVERYONE comes to visit. He hauls it in like a ROCKstar!
Did ya start in Oakland? Seems most of us actually started in Detroit, and kept moving upwards and outwards.. lol.
The kids now, are moving BACK into Detroit. Quite the rage. Good for the city, too!

Unfortunately that pork chop and The Embers have been gone for about 8 years.
Yah, the one up in Traverse closed even longer ago. That was an AWESOME chop, wasn't it? omg.. we still have the recipe though! Never could get it quite as tender, I think they purposely left a step out..

My dad worked for GM and our 4 year stint in Australia ended.
Did he ever work at the Milford Proving grounds? That's pretty much down the street from me. LOVE riding around the perimeter on mah bike. GOOD ride.. The LOOOOONG street on the west side of it, the cops pretty much stay away from. Kinda known for being able to ride that WOT when the mood strikes..
