Glad you like it, but I will continue to tell folks not to buy it. I think calling someone a liar because they, like lots and lots of other folks claim the batteries don't last very long is a bit much. So who is a patient person when it comes to getting their dose of nicotine? I sure as hell wasn't. As far as I'm concerned, looks mean squat when we are talking about ecigs. Ease of use, and functionality are the main factors. I doubt even a moderate smoker could go out for a night on the town with a blu and satisfy their nicotine urges without a pocketful of extra batteries. To me, that's unacceptable.

I didn't call anyone anything. I suggested it as one of the possible reasons why you would say they only last 20 minutes because while they do not last all that long, they last a lot longer than 20 minutes. I never said the blu has long battery life. And you don't need a pocket full of batteries. All I ever need is two. The one I'm vaping with never runs out before the other is done charging. Like I said.. If your batteries die that quickly, then either you vape like a fiend, you're lying, or the batteries are old or defective. There's no other option because mine last longer, and my blu works perfectly fine. Bad quality control doesn't necessarily mean bad product, and at least the company is willing to rectify the bad quality control by offering a 1 year warranty, and they're not shy about replacing defective parts. Just because the product doesn't fit your specific needs, that does not make it a bad product.

Again, I never said you should recommend the blu either. I'm asking that people stop bashing the living crap out of it when it's not deserved. Fine, don't recommend it. I don't care if you do or not. But don't tell every single person who gets a blu to just send it back before they even get to see if it works for them or not. I feel like if I admit that I even like blu around here, it's taken as a cardinal sin, and that's just dumb and wrong. I don't plan on recommending blu to anybody either because even if a blu would be sufficient for them, the fact that a 510 kit can be bought for $25 - $40 while the blu kit costs $60 makes the blu kit not really worth it. But that STILL doesn't make it a bad product.

And if your batteries actually die that quickly and have since the beginning, maybe you should have contacted them about it and tried to send them back. And if you never tried, then that's your fault, not Blu's. It's their fault that they sent out the bad batteries, but it's your fault for not bothering to do anything about it.

"If your batteries die that quickly, then either you vape like a fiend, you're lying, or the batteries are old or defective."

Well, first of all, I can attest to the fact that I wasn't lying. The battery I was referring to is a Volcano and was bought on 09/16/10. For the first few days, the battery lasted about 45 minutes before needing to be recharged. Each day, it gradually pooped out a little sooner, until it was about 20 minutes the last time I used it. By that time, the local store owner had given me another battery (that he should have given me the day I bought the starter kit). Both Volcano batteries are almost worthless -- within the first two weeks of using them very often.

Yes, that was almost constant vaping...maybe 3 hits every minute at least. The frequency of my vaping increased gradually every day from the day I started. There was no way I was gonna keep recharging batteries that often. By the way, the Volcanos were my backups; the Smokeless Delite battery lasted longer and was my first starter kit (and I ordered the 2nd S.D. battery the day I received the first kit).

Anyway, I've solved the problem. Don't use the Volcano batteries anymore (Volcano is the same as Blu, for those who are new to this). I received two eGo 1000mah batteries today, charged them for 3 hours, and have been using one since 3:30 pm. It's now almost 11:30 pm, and the eGo battery is still going strong. I also used a passthrough at different times since 3:30 pm -- and I haven't been vaping constantly today.

So, no more recharging batteries constantly!

Well I still say your batteries must be defective then. I ordered my blu on 8/15 and had it maybe a week later. I've been using it since then and only really slowed down on its use when I got my 510 a few days ago. My batteries still last longer than that, but I don't vape constantly either. I have blu and volcano parts. Actually, there is a difference in the equipment. The volcano batteries(or at least new ones, maybe not all) aren't as sensitive as the blu ones. They don't get set off by blowing on them instead of sucking. They don't get set off by being dropped or loud noises either, or it takes a lot more intense of a drop or noise to set it off. If at all, you'd have to try your ... off to set it off without puffing. I have two volcano batteries: one with a green light, and one with a white one. My girlfriend has purple. Oddly enough my white one still has sensitivity problems but not as bad as blu while the green and purple ones do not. I don't know if this one's a bad one, or if they changed them, and the old white LED batteries never got bought up. I dunno.

If you want the most out of your blu, drip with some decent juice. If you don't have a blu, skip it and go for a 510. It's cheaper and better(for the most part).

My friend and I went two routes. I bought a 510 and he got a blu cig. After a 10 days his 510 arrived in the mail. The concept of the blu cig is great but the execution is poor. 510 was perfect to learn how to use and e cig and I have to say that the learning curve is about a week maybe two before I was 100% happy with my product. I just ordered a Buzz from Notcigs.com and I can't wait till it comes in the mail.

BTW my wife likes the KR808 more than the 510. To each his own.

Best wishes to you.

Actually, it's immaterial to me now if my two Volcano batteries are defective or not. I won't be using them at all anymore -- after receiving two Joye eGo 1000mah batteries and two USB chargers in the mail yesterday (total $64 from Cignot in Illinois). These batteries will last all day and maybe longer. Each one will last about 12 hours or more, and that's with medium to constant vaping, I believe. I love them so much that I haven't been using the Volcano Magma passthroughs today -- which were great in the last week, never having to recharge any batteries.

And I don't drip or use attys at all. Got fed up with all of that about three days after I received my first starter kit on 09/14/10. I switched to just using the 510 Boge cartomizers with soft caps (from litecigusa.net for $7.95 for a box of five), and my vaping life has been so much better since then.

No more fiddling around with recharging batteries, no more fiddling around with attys, trying to get them to work constantly (cartomizers work all the time), no more fiddling around with dripping into polyfil in the little cheap cartridges, no more buying starter kits that come with atomizers, cartridges, and polyfil, no more hassles. I solved all those hassles by just using a Joye eGo 1000mah battery and 510 cartomizers. Just spend a few minutes every few days refilling the cartos, and that's it. Now I have much more time to vape and do other things. I could have saved a ton of money if I had read this message before I ordered my first starter kit.
