My EgoT has stopped letting me vape on the carts that I bought a couple weeks ago. I put them on my husbands and they work perfectly, though! There's only one cartomizer that will work on it for some reason. It's a smok DCHV. . setup.jpg The other two are not working. My battery will blink when I try to inhale, as if it were almost dead even though it's fully charged, and I get little to no vapor.
I'm thinking of just saying screw it and getting a new battery. I've tried bringing the center pin closer to the cart and it doesn't make any difference at all. What should I do? This cart is getting old and I need to make a decision. lol I was thinking of just getting a Twist and using single coil carts on it. Any recommendations on a website that sells them and the Twist? Thanks in advance yall.

If the light blinks when you press the button that means resistance is so low that the battery thinks it is a short. Different cartos should work on it. Perhaps the next higher resistance or single coil ones would work better.

It sounds like you are looking for an excuse to get a Twist! Lol There is no excuse needed. They are great, but I think your problem is caused by the cartos and not the battery.

Relax, Enjoy!

XP3 that made a lot of sense (could you see the lightbulb going on above my head?) I injected some juice closer to the center in one of them and it started working again. Butttt..... too late for that I already ordered my Twist... OOPS! LOL My pink twist should be here tomorrow. :)
Switched .. they had never given me issues before, but this time I got two duds. Total DOA. The first one's center hole wasn't lined up with the hole in the threaded side. It made me so mad! I used my pliers and fixed one of them for now, but I have more on the way. If these are messed up I might have to pull an Office Space and take a baseball bat to them.
**** don't watch this clip if you're sensitive to bad language*** This appropriately sums up how I would react if my new cartos/battery mess were to mess up. lol

Thanks for the responses yall.

The center post in an atomizer/carto is suspended in a silicone sleeve that insulates it from the outer ring, so it can migrate downward as you repeatedly screw the carto down onto the battery. That process is accelerated if you tighten them a little too tight, even once. Just enough pressure to keep it from unscrewing on its on is all you need to vape. 1/16 turn is good once it bottoms out.

The battery center post is suspended the same way. Usually, if it's the battery post that is pushed down, you get no contact and no vape and the light stays on steady. It can be pulled up gently with needle nosed pliers.

You haven't done any permanent damage. Once the contact is back out far enough to make proper contact, it's back to normal.
