I just "discovered" that the pilot brass atomizers are larger than the evo atomizers and will stretch out the carts so they fall off the evo atomizers.
so if you do get a brass pilot- keep a dedicated cart for it.
do not know if the same is true with the black pilot atomizers.

Kerri, I'm glad you posted that. I thought I was crazy. I mentioned that a few months ago on this forum, and everyone said no. Now I know I'm not crazy!:D

Thanks for the info RatPack. Just went to digismokes site and this is what I got.

Due to the current questions / uncertainty surrounding the FDA's position on electronic cigarettes, we are temporarily ceasing operations. We will continue to maintain the site and honor warranty claims through Intellicig. We will resume operations once the FDA gives the all clear. While we don't agree with the FDA's position, we will follow the law as written.

Wow, I've seen quite a few sites shutting down. I guess supplies will be hard to find these days. :-x

I wish I had discovered this forum a little earlier! I, too, ordered the Evo from Intellicigs about three weeks ago. After several e-mail trades with "Pam" (heavy volume of orders, etc.), I mentioned that I noticed that I had placed order #71 (starter kit) and - about 4 days later - order # 80 (wall charge adapter), so it didn't seem to me that a lot of orders were pouring in. Two weeks and two days after my original order, the orders shipped together. (I was charged two shipping charges for one shipment). Anyway, what I received was a generic "something" - maybe it's a 401? The atomizer says "E-CIGARETTE". The little instruction book (about 2" x 4") has no brand ID on it (unless New Life Health Electronic Cigarette is some kind of brand).
So - what is it? Should I go somewhere else (Puresmoker?) and but a "real Evo' - or something else?

Thanks for any help!

thats easy mate. im not gonna post his details here but go to this site :-

Whois lookup and Domain name search

then type in www.logicig.com

there ya go!

this guy also has multiple accounts on youtube......over 35 in fact. he creates them all to promote his products. some of his accounts are things like ilovelogicig, iquitwithlogicig etc. basically anything that has the word logicig is his!

how do i know? well he originally stole my review on the EVO, then uploaded it as his own work.......he even had my face as his profile picture! i complained to youtube and had the video removed.
then the next day my 5 star rated EVO vid had gone down to a 3 star rating with an additional 35 votes cast in less than 24 hours. i checked his account and he had just uploaded a new vid.......guess what, 35 views and 35 five star ratings. coincidence? yeah right!

That domain search isn't quite right. I did some sleuthing and found numerous links relating to the guy who runs logicig and who ran intellicigS.
Goes by the names of Chuck/Charles/Chaz Vogl and is based in Saylorsburg PA. Some of the links led to decidedly dodgy looking sites such as a 'gifting' site which would normally be called pyramid selling where there is no real product for sale but just people taking cash for telling others how to take cash! I even managed to dig up an old link where he was selling the infamous Pamela Anderson sex video. I remember the guys at Intellicig telling me that they no longer supplied the intellicigS site due to concerns they had.
Alan.

the main us site intellicig-usa.com is also shut down, i talked to intellicig.com and they said they will no longer be shipping to the u.s. until the whole customs issue is over with

They are shipping to the US but not in container loads at the moment. Although the FDA tried to shake people up they have not been banning sellers all over the country as far as I am aware. They are in a shady area and they know it, a bit of 'call my bluff' I think.

Well...now I'm dealing with "Madison". She told me to send back the "generic" cig and she'd send me a real Evo. She assured me she had it in stock (so why didn't they send me what I ordered in the first place?). I told her I was leery of doing that, because of what I've seen on this forum - and figured I might not get anything back. She replied that "they" had just bought Intellicigs and were trying to deal with all of the flak from the previous owner's misdeeds. She wouldn't give me a phone number, though.

Anyway, I packed up everything and put it in the mail yesterday. We'll see what happens. I told her that if she did right by me I'd mention on this forum that they seemed to be doing the right things now.

I very well may be too gullible - I'll let you all know...

Well, as I suspected, I received my wannabe today. They shorted me the variety pack of cartridges that come with the unit but I did received the extra 10 carts that I had ordered (aluminum packaging from intellicig). I also received a nice hard case and wall plug, both of which I did not order. I am chalking this up as a bad experience and will never deal with them again.

Chevelle guy - I don't know what to tell you..I don't think that you will ever get the EVO that they promised you..they are going to keep you frustrated enough till you give up. Of course, this is my opinion only. I could be wrong and I hope that I am but I doubt it. If they had the EVO in stock, why wouldn't they have sent that to me. They shipped my order on Tuesday. Just a thought..

BUYER BEWARE!!!! DON"T EVER ORDER FROM INTELLICIGS.COM!!!

Vaporize Me, I'm sorry to hear it. If the atomizer says "E Cigarette" on it, you got the same thing they sent me - hard case with two slots that carry the full cig and extra battery, right?

I'm really unhappy to hear that they just shipped it Tuesday - that would mean that it has to be the supposed "new owners". It will be interesting to see what they do to me, since they agreed to take the generic back. I sent it with signature required, so at least they won't be able to say that they didn't get it back. I'll let everybody know how it goes!

You hit the nail on the head chevelle guy. Yes, it does say "E-Cigarette" on it. Same hard case and all. Hope you have better luck.

For me, I'm just going to chalk it up to a bad experience and do a better job next time. I really don't feel like gong back and forth with Madison and Pam for the next couple of weeks. I'll definitely be more thorough and do my homework first.

I was contemplating getting the legit EVO from intellicig in the U.K. or wait for the trog screwdriver to become available. Man, that SD sounds like the real deal. I figure I can use this generic M401 when I'm out and enjoy the SD when I'm home...

I wanted the feel of a real analog and the taste of tobacco. But from what I've read, it is a common newb phenomenon to do so.

The more experienced guys mix their own juice with flavors and don't care much about what it feels or looks like. Performance seems to be the motivating factor. From what I understand, newbs will eventually go to a pen style and what not, for performance sake.

Seems to me that the SD is the way to go. A bit pricey, but the batteries last forever, from what I hear, and are really cheap. The performance/throat hit rivals an analog and it uses 901 attys that are really easy to get also.

Definitely keep us posted as to what happens. For me, I will never deal with intellicigs again PERIOD!!!

Yes, vaporize me, I think you have the right attitude to chalk this up to experience - won't be the first time I've been screwed.

Since I'm new at this, can you tell me more about the SD? Sounds good. I'm concerned about trying to get anything that isn't already in the states because of the FDA flap. Think that's going to be an issue? What's the SD and where should I go to get it? Sounds like you may have a reputable place to deal with (that in itself would be refreshing!).

Thanks in advance for your help!

chevelle guy - sorry you had to suffer the same fate as my self. I really hate dishonest people.

As for the trog screwdriver... it is a hybrid device made by one guy, trog. From what I've heard, it is an amazing device. Throat hit very similar to analogs. It has more power to the atomizer and helps keep the atty clean by burning off more of the juice, thus less residue. It uses 901 attys and the batteries can last up to 8 hours. The batteries can also be bought for under $7 delivered..pack of 4. That in itself sounds like a good deal.

I had e-mailed him earlier in the week and he states that he will have stock by the end of the month. Its priced around $150 but you know what...I just want a device that is reliable and works. I don't need a surplus of devices that I won't use. Juice surplus is different story though.

Do some research.. People here swear by it.

Guess what, Vaporize Me? Madison sent me a real Evo! At least it seems so - it doesn't say Evo anywhere - just Intellicig - but I can't find any pic's of any that do actually say Evo.

I was amazed - they signed for the generic I sent back on Friday, and my new cig arrived today (Monday). They still have to credit me two shipping charges (and they forgot to send my wall charge adaptor - which Madison said she'll mail tomorrow) - so we'll see, Maybe the ARE trying to turn this thing around!

Anyway, I'll let you know how the rest goes...
