Hi, I'm new to sub ohm vaping and have just purchased a smok X cube mini and Smok TVF4 Mini tank, I'm really struggling on setting this up as it's not producing much vapour and I don't have a clue which coil to put in out of the three that were included, I would just like a nice taste and a decent amount of vapour and have no idea what settings to put it on, any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Check out the reg mod thread and the TFV4 threads. Much info there. Good luck.

I dont have any personal experience with your setup but changing the wattage or temperature (if your in TC mode) should matter with the flavor, temperature, and vapor.

I see that the xbox mini has a max wattage setting of 75w. My snow wolf mini also has a max wattage setting of 75W, when I vape with my setup, 20 vs 30w has a big noticeable difference in flavor, vapor and temperature.

which settings have you tried on the box mod?

I've just put the tft3 coil in, and it's just spitting juice into my throat and not really making any cloud, ive just cleaned it all out and made sure there's no juice anywhere and no leaks, nice tight vacuum, it's on 60w and a 'normal' setting?
Try it at 35w and work your way up to a comfortable vape. I have the big XCube, the tank will work better around 45-50w but you need to get there slowly or you'll scorch the wick.
Spit back could be from too much juice on the coil. Fire it for a sec or two before ya hit, to minimize spit back.

Your coils aren't for temp control so I would only adjust wattage. Are yo sure u primed the coils correctly. I.e.: made sure the cotton is nice and wet not only on the top part but also at the vent holes usually found in the bottom.

The thing with the tfv 4 is that their coil heads are huge and I mean like twice as large as most other sub ohm tanks. So you really need to have ur coil heads primed right. You want them to be literally soaked in your ejuice before u fire them up.

Make sure the coil head is primed al the way down to the bottom meaning u want to see wet cotton in those air vents at the bottom of the coils.

Got it on 50w at the moment and it's just tasting burnt, got plenty of juice in aswell

Again - What PG/VG Ratio is your E-liquid?

At least 70/30 for decent Vapor - I generally use 50/50 and am not Cloud crazy

Triple Coil or Lesser - single or RBA Build Dual(TF-R2)

Air Ring - to Max open
Drip Tip Air - Closed

X Cube Mini is at Base limit of most heads - Bottom power limit when turned fully up.

Take your time and sort out what you are doing.

Best of luck!
