I got an x2 bat and a clearomizer from Smokeless image. When I switched to the clearomizer after having used carts for a while, it was really awesome, at first. I was getting big old hits, and it tasted great. Now, after about the 2 week mark, the hits are way smaller and I have to pull a lot longer just to get that. What's going on here? For a time I was getting really big but harsh hits, now the hits are way week. One of the inside rubber bungs came out at one point, but never caused it to leak.
I was wondering if they just go bad after a short time, or what. As this has probably been covered before at some point, can you point me to some links that may help? I did a comparison between the clearo and a brand new cart. and now the carts are giving bigger and better hits than the clearo. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

"Will last for approximately 2-3 weeks of average use per clearomizer used exclusively." - Quoted from the Smokeless Image product page, within the product discription.

Sounds to me like you got about what should have been expected.

Hi Robert,
Some folk have got months out the the X2 clearos by cleaning and dry burning.
I didn't try that - I tossed them once they were done. But you could try cleaning and dry burning. What you're experiencing with them sounds like they are pretty gunked up.
These clearos are basically the same as the Stardust. Some people soak them in vodka and then rinse them out and dry burn, or just rinse them out after the vodka and leave them to dry.

robert, nothing in e-cigs will last forever. Here is what they say about these clearos on the Smokeless Image website:

'NEW PLASTIC - Works with ALL Nicquids! * For use with your X2 VOLT battery. * Will last for approximately 2-3 weeks of average use per clearomizer used exclusively.'

I think these clearos are similar to the Vision eGo Stradusts. Here is a video on how to clean these. Note that I am not sure these are the same ones you have, but you might be able to figure things out while looking at the video. In any case, you could simply replace the clearomizer with a new one and be back to the great vape you were enjoying at the beginning.

They are basically Stardusts with 808 threading.

On another note - Robert, the video will be good, and if you head over to the ECF Smokeless Image forum I expect people will give you advice on how they make them last too. They're a good bunch over there. I know they've discussed cleaning them more than once.

I rinse my Stardusts (CE4s) out periodically - just hold them under the faucet, and then let them dry on a paper towel for a couple of days. I don't dry burn. In 3 months I've only had to throw 2 away, but I have lots of them full of different flavors and switch around. On another thread, a guy linked to a video on how to take them apart and clean them (the regular clearos, not the rebuildable kind) - ummm - too much work for me. Let's see, you got 2 weeks out of a clearo that cost $6.45...how much is a pack of cigarettes in Chicago? ;)
