As the XL PCC is in development anyway, and myself and others would really like to eliminate the short cord with a mini USB plug to charge it. That will give quite a it more room for a larger battery.
So I got to thinking, how about killing two birds with one stone? There are many that would like to power the PT in a portable manner, why not go ahead and incorporate a large USB plug that could power the PT? It won't be a long run, but for people just running errands etc. it would be a simple solution and make the PCC even more useful for those not sure they need one.

although this can be useful for some, and not saying this is a bad idea but wouldnt it be easier to carry an XL and with you? although the Voltage will not compare to a PT its better then carrying around a PT and a PCC.

I can however see this as being useful incase your Battery dies and you have your PT handy and need that extra TH for when your stress level is higher but would a PCC even give out that much voltage?

/start wet blanket...

Going from 200mAh to a sustained 1000mAh seems like it would be quite a jump in cost (and reliability). While I haven't had any problems with my 2 pass-throughs, I can only imagine how many "OMG V4L, my PT wire came loose while it was shoved in my pocket as I ran around all day!!!1   Replace it nao!!" posts would flood the forum.

/end wet blanket

It'd be a cool novelty, but personally I'd rather see the dev & production time spent on the VK-1

VK1 after Chinese New Years

Enjoy

does this mean i can hold off on buying the chuck or xhaler or something similar ??

I couldn't wait myself, picked up a glv when they had their blowout sale but that doesn't mean I won't be picking up a vk1...I just have no idea what type of mod the vk1 will be so without more info I couldn't justify waiting. I do know that it is supposed to have a multi switch that allows both manual and auto operation which sounds pretty cool. Big question to me will be what voltage it runs at. Chinese new is coming up fast though.
