When you say relock, what exactly are you talking about? A couple of times over the 8 days, it has asked me it this is a new coil. Is that the relock? I have not had any since we started this conversation.

Yes ... without removing atty or battery when I get at the 1/4 battery mark

Definitely not happening to me. Mine was on the last bar when we started this and I have sucking on this thing non stop to try to kill it. No messages and still not dead. Has been over 40 minutes.

I know that the evolve dna40 can be pretty quirky too. Anybody using an evolve dna40 chip could chime in on how they operate

Altho not even close to being any sort of an expert, I'd be happy to chime in on the DNA40. Both DPL and I have the authentics. mgm, if you could pose specific questions, we might be able to add some info here.

I can tell you (just from what you've said and asked) that mine has not asked for the "new coil?" at all, unless I've changed toppers in it. Batt life doesn't seem to provoke that.

When my battery has been at 1/4 for a while (maybe an hour) If I don't change battery I will get message " new coil up same down "
The longer I run mod with battery low the more frequent the message. Not a biggie I just switch to a new battery. Getting an avg of 8 hours vape time in power mode with a .8 ohm coil at 35 watts with efest 35 amp 2500 mah battery

I've had over 10 DNA 40 mods and the last 4-5 have had zero quirks. The last revision or two have been money.

Hmm maybe I need to retract what I just said about needing to relock atty at about 1/4 battery life....

Found a battery issue. One mod would only work in upright postion. If I tipped upside down battery would lose contact. Put another battery in and it works in any postion. Seems as though I am tighting down to tight and indenting the positive end of battery.

Can I lift up the positive tab on a battery without shorting it out?

Ditto but only 4! :)

I believe we are referring in our case to a authentic Evolv chip and not this clone chip in the clone stick. Matter of fact, just a few days ago, I accidently ran my authentic down to "zero/empty icon" which had a VCT 5 in it. Still gave me a shorter pull (which is how I noticed) and also flashed on the screen to me...gramps! It's time to swap your bat. Do it! Or I'm going to stop working!

I presume you can still keep vaping with these little glitches ? so when I get my clone I won't look at the screen. /lol

Let me retest this again today........ Now I think it was a battery issue being just a tiny bit short. I have ran this present battery real low without any issue. Just tested that battery it's at 3.5 volts

************ Ten day update 3f xvostick clones **************

Power mode using ohms over 1.0 will give "error ohms too high"
Power mode using ohms under 1.0 no error
Vapes just fine with error code but its there.

You get a "Ohms Too High" error message when in the power mode and using a coil over 1.0 ohms resistance.

What do you have the watts set at when you get this error message?

Have you tried lowering the watts to see if you still get this error message when using a coil of greater than 1.0 ohms resistance?
