Don't worry too much, other's have had this concern as well. The original supplied charger does not have a light, but I know some have bought other ones that do. Some say you can see a slight flicker in the display of the mod? I never do. You can always check the display bar gauge thingy when you turn it on. ( I usually just charge overnight. I think full charge time is 6-7 hours)

The data about all that is in this thread somewhere:

But, this might be a good thread for you:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ything-you-ever-wanted-know-about-darwin.html

It's a lot shorter  and has most of the important stuff in it.

Darwin was my first Vari mod -- Welcome to Darwinia.

OK, finally after 18 months of searching for my Unicorn, I finally got one! I just received my Darwin mod in the mail today, went to charge it and nothing happens when I plug it in, no icon, no light, no nothing. I have a owners manual from ECF, nothing about charging. Any ideas?

Hello irish,

I'm also a (proud) Darwin owner and the OP of the thread referenced above (for better or for worse!).

For quite some time it bothered me that there was ZERO charging indicator for the Darwin. It bothered many others as well. Thankfully, I was able to find a charger that has worked flawlessly for over 2 years now (yes, I still use my D'win nearly daily), but more so, has a charging indicator light! It was the end of the frustration for me.

They seem to be a bit more expensive now, but for approximately 10 bucks, I would highly recommend one.

Here ya go!
