SO I ST-... *clears throat* I started vaping about 2 years ago to this day (give or take a few hours). Long and generic story short (well... not really ) :

Me mudder was a smoker since she was 16 and wanted to quit but lacked the willpower to stop,
Fast forward about 50 years later, she hears of "electronic cigarettes"
I get a sample of a really crappity e-cig called "Nu-Smoke" or something that wasn't worth remembering, but made the e-cig solution possible to me (the 1 of 100 times it produced anything other than dead air was rather pleasant),
She's inspired, orders a cig-a-like kit and immediately stops smoking and starts vaping,
I am envious,
I start researching and run into this eGo-T thingamabooger with the cone atomizer, small tank and all that jazz,
Found it functioned alright but kept checking the bottle to ensure the flavour I ordered was Blueberry and not tire skids,
Confusion ensued, along with many nights of research and ideas that worked for a few minutes but left me in despair... *grabs violin*
A string on the violin snapped in my eye, thus writing this has become somewhat more challenging,
Tried other products like the Stardust, Vivi Nova, Kanger T3s. Each had their strengths and weaknesses. Although in the T3's case, I learned that maxing out the voltage on the battery was good if I'd rather drink flooding e-liquid as opposed to vaping it,
Lots of money was used in the trial-and-error to find what suited my chain-vaping needs,
Fast-forwarding here - Finally found THE ONE (personally speaking of course): The Kanger Protank.
Have been freed from the plague of smoking for about 2 years now, as stated above.

So there's my sloppily-written story. I'm a very simplistic vaper, all I need is my neat little Kanger Protank 1 Glassomizer, a ton of additional coils in reserve, and of course the e-liquid - I'm always trying out new flavours. I use eGo-C Twist batteries--both set at 4.2 volts--and the coils I use are 2.2ohms at the moment. The e-liquid I'm currently using is Cinnamon Red Hearts from Canada E-Juice (which as of the time of writing this, seem to be having serious delay problems with shipping the orders), 70% VG/30% PG.

As tempting as using mods and all of the other very fancy swag is, I've had countless stumbles in the past where curiosity won over common sense, and as a result I can still taste the engine exhaust flavour to this day. So I like to keep it simple. But it has been a journey worth traveling to get away from those bloody awful cigarettes.

And that is my story. :D

Great Story!

Welcome to ECF.

Glad the Clearomizer technology got perfected enough for you to now have a decent vape with the Kanger Protank. I wish you continued success.

Welcome to the forum! I only have one mod, the Itaste I, and my favorite is still a Spinner and my Protank 3. The spinner, (same thing as twist), seems to be better with every tank I have than the mod, and the Protank 3 is my favorite of all my toppers. I actually like my Kanger MT3S better than my mini Protank and the I30B. It almost, (not quite), makes me feel like keeping it simple and saving money.
