Looking at every penny spent for the last 15 months (since stopping analogs) my average monthly cost of vaping comes to about 85.00/month. Thats more than I expected and is split about 60/40 between hardware and juice.

As a pack a day smoker that makes it about about 40% savings over analogs last year. Hopeing this year to be lower with fewer hardware changes and lower juice cost.

How does this compare to others experiences?

In the last 7 months of vaping, I'm at about $800 spent with around $1100 saved over analogs. That includes a bunch of mods, pass-throughs, eGo batts in different sizes and about 2 dozen atties/cartos that I've not yet touched. I am also sitting on about 300ml of juice. So, if I don't do something idiotic like ordering more mods, I should be at a very reasonable number at the one year mark.

You did better than I did. Last September I checked all my receipts for the first year and I think it averaged 95 dollars a month (maybe a little more if I lost a few receipts). As you said the 2nd year has been much better. I mix my own liquid (the nic juice I bought last year). In the first 5 months of this 2nd year of vaping, I have spent a total of $90.65.

Yeah, not like it really matters how much, kinda figured the average person first year vaping to be around that much +/-.

I told a few friends they could do this for a lot less if they stuck to initial device (like ego/riva) buying only the expendables as needed and economized on the juice choice (some diy). I could see it being real cheap, if they refrain from the buying craze :)
