Okay so this is the thing:
Ive been starting to make my own liquids, got some flavour art aroma's, ive been making for example:

spearmint 5% 10ml
Strawberry 5% 10ml
citrusmix 5% 10ml

Now since ive made those (around 29 AUG)
Since then; everyday ive heated them (bowl of hot water) and after i used an automatic saw which gave them a good shake!
Is this to much of it? can my flavours actually degrade by doing this or oversteep(if that even excist
Ive read some thing here on the forum and people only heat and shake them once?

From what i have read is that steeping is something personal, the thing is that ive run out of elemental liquids that i bought in the UK so im depressed of my 'standard' dekang shop around the corner so i really wanna try them!
p.s sorry for my grammer!

Thanks,

Tim

Flavors can fade or increase over time depending on the flavor concentrate. Steeping is allowing Nicotine to oxidize over time and allowing the flavor molecules to bond with the base molecules. The longer it steeps the more Nicotine will oxidize. So shaking will help flavor distribution and time will allow nicotine to properly oxidize as well as distribute flavor. Constant or prolonged shaking will introduce air into the mix which also makes nicotine ozidize more quickly. The more it ozidizes the harsher it will get and may also mask the flavorings taste. So there is a point where it can over ozidize but I've never seen it get to the point where it was unvapable. I've got juices well over a year old and they still taste good. If your sensitive to the harsh effects of nicotine then this may cause a problem for you.

Read my blog on steeping for detailed information on the steeping process.

the flavors you are mixing don't really need to steep or be heated or any of that business. Just shake and vape. Fresh they will be a bit crisp and over time they will mellow a bit. I only like to vape menthol fresh, i find that even the next day the menthol isn't that strong crisp flavor that I like.

Just my 2 cents
