I started vaping on a ego battery, upgraded to mvp2. Eventually got a ProVari 2.5 and then a stingray mech mod. Now I'm ready to "upgrade" once again. My current girlfriend keeps wanting to "spoil" me and buy me whatever I want but I can't take advantage of her and have never asked nor have her pay for anything I have a job and pay my own bills. But she keeps insisting that she wants to do something nice for me so I figured I'd ask for an authentic dna mod for Christmas so that way it's only one thing she'll buy me instead of buying me a bunch of different things. SO my dilemma would be what dna mod to get? I know there several different we DNA mods coming out and was wondering what would be a good solid choice. Ideas? Suggestions?

LOL You want a Flask right? Ask for one with the DNA 40 in it....if that is too pricey to ask for,...a Protovapor XPV or a VaporShark rDNA....but if you want DNA, I would go for a 40 because it gives you more options...

Do you have a form factor preference?

I looked and looked and looked at the Hana,,,but just seems it would get scratched up and I read some quality issues here on previous versions.

Not really a form factor preference but it's funny that you say that about the Hana because I was going to add that I would prefer if it wasn't Hana lol price is not really an issue but again I don't want to feel like I'm asking her for too much or feel like I'm taking advantage of the situation

Well she will pay at least 200 for a high end one...that is what is released now...don't go clone...the Chinese don't even come close to doing that right...LOL You could give her the price ranges and let her decide how much is too much..

What are you getting her?

Definitely authentic all the way. Price like I said is not really an issue, I mean for her it's really not an issue for me it kinda is I'm having a moral dilemma as to how much I feel comfortable with her spending on me. She does not vape nor smoke so I won't be getting her anything vape related. But I will probably get her something of equal or greater value. I think asking for a price range maybe I'll get a better idea but I'm sure like always she'll just say "whatever you want and need" lol she asked for me to give her a whole list of stuff I want lol but lucky for her I'm not that type of guy or person

Well if you plan on getting her something nice that she really wants too, then there is no dilemma....its all about the twolove.gif

So in terms of Specs...here is my opinion...just mine, no one has to agree.

The Good:

Flask-
extremely well made
dual batteries more power
ergonomic
don't own one, haven't contacted them so can't comment on customer service

Protovapor XPV:
Small form factor
dial not buttons
cool looking and rugged
well made
good customer service

VaporShark rDNA
Small, small,,,good for stealth
Can change colors by changing skins
wireless charging
batteries can be removed like normal
Nice customer service
Also rugged

The Bad:

Flask
Pricey
Tight battery compartment (unless they fixed that)
Dual batteries means you should marry them...i.e. keep them always at the exact same charge level...kind of a pain....not sure if that is still relevant with dna 40 though, others might know.
Flies out of stock quickly

Protovapor XPV
Battery is wrapped so when the battery dies, while some say it is easy to replace you need to replace it with a wrapped battery. Doesn't bother me. I ordered one.

VaporShark rDNA
LOL, I can't think of one bad thing here......I ordered one of these too. I guess I would rather that the display was not on the bottom but it is beveled so nothing bad happens according to other owners.

The Ugly
LOL, again nothing ugly going on...just had to say ugly for the sake of it....hehehehehe

I was thinking VaporShark rDNA but my only concern was battery life and how small it is. I mean I don't have huge hands but I kind wanted a nice "beefy" looking box mod but that's not a deal breaker for me. I just wish my local B&M carried some DNA mods so I could hold them and compare them

Lmfao oh you caught that yea I guess I didn't really think about that part. It's just that I want to be able to hold it to see how "small" it really feels but like I said its not a deal breaker for me either way lol

Ok cool. Yeah like I said I don't have big hands either. They are actually small and not beefy for originally wanting a "beefy" box mod lol

Well if you are a dude...you don't want your hands to look small...So a small mod might actually make your hands look bigger and the reverse is also true...
