I have no choice in the matter: my wife works with two year-olds all day. Little walking, talking Petri dishes.
If there's any strain of the Plague of the Week going around, we get exposed to it.
I spent Memorial Day weekend afflicted with a particularly virulent strain of a stomach bug they were passing around, and I pride myself for having a very robust immune system that usually kicks those things to the curb.
I passed my compliments on to them for sharing a virus that was able to have me on the toilet and barfing into a garbage can simultaneously.

When our son was in school, every single fall we all managed to get some bug or other -- just as soon as school was in session and all the little germ monsters were sharing. As soon as he graduated from high school, fall colds were almost a thing of the past -- almost! Now that I vape, I haven't suffered a cold since the very month I first came to ECF, right before I started vaping. Pretty sure I picked that one up at my Dr's office, since I had seen him about 2 wks before I first got to ECF. I hate going to doctors! There are all kinds of sick people there!

The same reason I avoid hospitals. Lots of people die there. I'm staying away from them if at all possible.
